I’ve been rooting a few clippings from a friend’s and I definitely have roots but I need guidance on the next step. Please help because I’ve been very diligent since it’s winter in Virginia and I used grow light to get them to here.

So I got these off my aunts Chinese money plant. I read on the internet that it should grow roots in water. Is this correct? Has anyone done this and did it work?

Should I transfer to soil now? And would it get enough nutrients if I used sphagnum moss, or should I do a mix/just soil?

I have had this start for over two years. It formally had two leaves, and then grew this sprout, and the original leaves died. Am I ever going to get more from this plant? It just keeps getting taller, but it’s not getting more leaves. I’m not even sure this is the type of plant it is.

Any tips on how to make this grow and more full ??

Help me save a dying BOP! My friend gifted me a repotting of her BOP, but I think it was in too large of a pot and may have had pre-existing root rot. A few weeks after receiving it, despite following a conservative watering schedule, the leaves had totally drooped and yellowed. I read somewhere else (should have checked here first) that I'd be best off trimming the leaves entirely and repotting to a smaller pot better-suited to the roots. So here we are now, repotted (lots of root rot cut) to a much smaller pot and following a plant treatment plan to recover from over watering. My main remaining question is whether I should further trim the stems to treat it as a propagation and/or if it seems past saving at this point? Any other advice greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone !!🌱💗 This is my first time ever buying plants and my first time propagating, so I’m very new and learning as I go. I’m currently propagating: • Rare Pink Fury Tradescantia • Rare Pink Tradescantia • Big-leaf Callisia repens Rosato I’ve placed them in small clear jam jars. Most of the leaves are above the water (as you can see in the photo), and the water level only reaches the stems/nodes,not the leaves. I’m based in the UK, so we don’t get much sun here 😅 I’ve read that these plants don’t need direct sunlight, but I just wanted to ask,what’s the best way to make sure they thrive and don’t rot while propagating ?? Any tips or reassurance would mean a lot ,thank you so much! 🤍🌿

About five months ago I chopped and propped my pink princess and black gold philodendrons because they had some really leggy growth from last winter and weren’t producing large leaves anymore and this is the progress. None of the segments had any leaves, just a healthy node, and they’ve been in this makeshift prop-box with sphagnum moss and a ziploc bag. I’ve been slowly opening the bag to get them used to a less humid environment and I want to know when I can put them in soil. Any suggestions?

Opinions and help please. I’m still fairly new to plants and still learning. I see people with Money Tree problems regularly. Yet I have no trouble with this Pachira Stump. One of my best looking plants and I love it. So I’m wondering if I just happen to have a really good specimen and should maybe look into propagating (because I’m sure it’s not me, lol). Of course I have no idea where to begin!

Haworthia cooperi - What’s the best course of action for this guy? Do I cut, propagate, use stakes?

This winter I’m also taking the largest leaf and node off my neon pothos and propagating to create a HUGE one trained up a moss pole to hopefully achieve fenestrations! Stay tuned..

Okay folks I’ve buckled down and spent $10 to start my lifelong dream of starting out and raising my own Burle Marx Flame. I’ve resisted the urge to purchase a $50 beauty many times so I can accomplish this not only for myself but the plant as well. Wish me luck on my journey and I will keep you posted on her journey.
