   I wait until the plantlets have roots! They look like little light nubs at first and then become more obviously roots as they get longer. Then, I usually sit them on the surface of a tiny pot of fine aroid mix, add a little to cover the roots a bit, water, and wait. Make sure not to over-water during that stage. Water propagation works really well on the little plantlets too, but you'd still want roots for that
