I want to hear y'alls opinions on this. Is proplifting stealing? Me personally, I would definitely call pulling cuttings purposely off plants stealing but I see taking fallen leaves from the floor as perfectly acceptable considering they'll just be swept into the trash anyway. What do y'all think about this?
I was given this cutting from a coworker today! She said it was a āfriendship plantā and didnāt know the actual kind. It can grow in either water or soil and grows new leaves from its ābranchesā. I am still new to plants so I am not sure what this is. I was thinking a corn plant maybe?

Wow! Two months ago I posted asking for help on my Alocasia Bambino that apparently went dormant. I knew nothing about them besides some varieties can go dormant in winter. This is her today! After sitting lifeless and bald in a pot for 6 months, I decided to try reviving it. For two months I had it in a plastic bag with mist, then added sphagnum moss, then a week ago when the roots were long and a leaf sprout was 1/2ā, I moved to a glass jar covered with a plastic ziploc. It instantly put out a beautiful baby leaf! Leafless photos is from end of June. Yellow leaf is from a year ago before it put out itās last 2 leaves that lasted ~2mos.

Iām propagating my partnerās Grandmaās plant. Sheās since passed away and itās in the care of his mom but itās been alive since the 1960s! So with that being said, I donāt want to mess it up lol! Itās an Arrowhead plant and I have 6 cuttings from it that I am propagating in water. They are already starting to grow roots. How much roots do I need? And when I plant them, should I plant them all in one larger pot since they are such long cuttings?

Hi all! I have an incredible pepperomia that I have split a few times and all parts are doing well. However, I had a loose leaf that I tried to propagate. I placed it in water until roots grew and then moved to the soil. A light tug tells me its definitly rooted in the soil, but the look of the leaf has not changed at all. Is that expected, or should this be growing more? Is there anything I can do to help it grow? Thank you!
Nostalgia incoming! I remember when I tried to propagate chia seeds in a jar. They grew. And grew. I kept the lid on the jar when I wasn't watering it so it didn't need as much water. It almost popped out the top. Eventually they folded over before I could eat them and started molding. We had to throw away the whole Masen jar. Good olā daysā¦
First time growing anything by seed. They're "Night Sky" Petunias. Do I mist? When do I repot? Do I try to separate them? I was expecting maybe one or two to sprout.. This is exciting ā ( į ćā )ļ¼æ

Iām looking for input. I placed these stalks in water just to enjoy them longer but the one on the right has formed some roots. Should I plant this little guy in soil? I initially bought that little propagation station to use for my succulents but then decided to use soil instead. Itās cute tho!
Hello guys! I have a propagation that has really long roots that itās been growing in the water, itās a golden pothos and itās doing really well in water. I donāt have to put it in soil if I donāt want to right? Like it can still live in the water? ( and sorry itās just Iām new to propagating and stuff so..š„²)
