My succulent leaf experiment is starting to work. What do I do now? How long do I leave it like this? It has been on my window sill like this for about 2 weeks. Some mist for moisture in the beginning and not much since. How do I take care of it now that it’s growing? I’ve never done this before. On the whim experiment 😊
Are these guys ok?! I just got these Christmas cactus cuttings and after some research I thought water would be ok.. but now they are changing colour and are flimsy.. should i take them out or are they just adjusting?! Thanks!
So I’ve been propagating this pothos for 3 months now and recently put it on the window sill. Sadly the other day my cats got a hold of it pulled it out of the vase while I was at work which left it on my desk to dry out :( Any advice on saving it? I would be so sad to lose it after all this progress. I put it back in the vase and it’s been ok but this is what it the roots look like now. Do I need to cut off the brown parts of the roots?
So this leaf was turning a light color so I broke it off and put it in water.. is this how you do it? Do I need something? I feel like I’m missing something.
I dropped my African violet and these leaves broke off from the plant - is there any way to propagate them?
If I cut the two long stalks of that rubber tree at about the halfway point, can I stick them back in the soil to root?

Hi! maybe this is a stupid question, i’m sorry! Can you prop SOP with just the leaves? at Home Depot yesterday and they had beautiful SOP with some of the leaves fallen off, so I snatched some even though i wasn’t sure. I feel like I probably need some of the stem though. any tips??
Hi all! Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on notching or pinching rubber plants to promote growth? I’ve had this for a little around a month. Repotted once about 3 weeks ago but still waiting for the growth node to enlarge which it hasn’t. This is a rubber plant ruby/belize by the way. Thank you!
First pic - October 11, 2023 Second pic - July 1, 2024 My first successful propagated baby, almost 9 months old and in soil for probably half his life! He’s a slow grower, but definitely growing! When I first propagated him I had literally no idea what I was doing, so idk if he was supposed to sprout upside down like that, but it worked!
Just got caladium “blaze” bulbs & don’t know how many or how far apart to plant them. Should I keep indoors while they germinate? I’m in zone 6a & we’ve been having a chilly summer- highs about 65-69.
So I think I may have messed up lol I have a spider plant and it put out a pup so I put the pup in water to see what would happen and now I think it’s literally growing plants along the pup stem I’m about to be like a octuplet mom 😂😅

How does one propagate a snake plant that looks like this? Also is this a snake plant? That’s what plants said it was but idk what variety it would be.
I inherited these gasteria - after they callus can I stick them in soil? Will they root? They had root rot so I had to chop it off
When should I transplant these plants? and how should I go about it? It is a mini monstera on the bottom and pothos on top. The mini monstera has been in water for about 4 weeks i would say and the pothos maybe 3 weeks.
