How do I best propagate a string of bananas? I just got the cutting yesterday, and it looks a little small (especially the bananas). Does anyone know the best way to encourage growth?

Is this cutting alright? How long does it normally take for plants to root in water? I’m new to propagating and I worry that I cut it from the wrong place. - I got the cutting from my friend, and put it in water on Saturday and we have done a bit of train traveling over the weekend. I’m also worried the change in environment might not help.

I didn't even know that a string of hearts can grow roots out of the stems! I thought they only grew roots from the nodes.

is it possible for spider mites to thrive on props? I guess it technically is, because i’m dealing with it 😅but how does this even happen?? they have webs already but i just cleaned my props a week ago! should I just wash them off with water? TIA!

I bought a Polly Alocasia from Trader Joe’s and moved her from soil to leca. She gave me so many babies! These are just the ones that fell off, she’s got about 8 more attached. I didn’t want to rip them off until they were ready. I’ve attached the mama plant’s “bio” and a pic of the babies. They’re in a covered container under a grow light.

My sad prayer plant is sending out runners with new growth points, I’ve never seen something like this before! I just pulled 10+ dead leaves off it and found these weird babies dangling off the stem 🤣

hii! i cut my curly spider plant about a month ago and its been it water since (yes i changed the water). The roots (or root) aren’t growing. Am i doing something wrong?? Thanks! Also sorry for the photo quality 😭😭

Been propagating this monstera “cutting” (it was a broken off piece of Monstera I found on the floor of Home Depot a while back) in a Starbucks cup for a couple months. She’s clearly ready for soil now, but I keep putting it off because Im torn on how big of a pot I should put her in. What size pot would you put this in? I have 4”, 5” and 6” nursery pots.
