I need some advice for my rubber plant. Is it good to prune the top off? Has anyone done that? Do you propagate what you prune? Mine looks a bit leggy and id like it to get bigger leaves instead of always putting new ones on.

(Post copied from a different group where it wasn’t getting any responses) I have some nice sproutlings that emerged from my starter plugs. Should I push the plugs into soil or gently pull out the sproutlings and plant directly into new soil. And if so, how tall should the sproutlings be before pulling them out of plug? And what, isn’t sproutling a word? It’s underlined in red as if it isn’t!

These corms fell out of my rescue Alocasia but I don’t have any experience with them. I don’t even know if they’re okay to use. Can someone point me in the right direction for propagating/planting it. Please and thank you!! 🙏

i’ve heard different opinions, so i’m curious for people to weigh in — if you’re propping something leafy (not a succulent) do you prefer to let it callous before sticking it in water or just put it in right away?

Found part of my pine cone cactus on the floor. Not sure if it was dead and fell over or if the cat got to it. Any way to propagate?

hi friends:) i’m wondering if this micans philodendron prop is ready for soil. i’ve had it in water for over a month and it doesn’t seem to be wanting to grow any more..is there anything i’m doing wrong?? i have another prop that’s only slightly younger and its roots have yet to come. picture isn’t the best but roots are about an inch long maybe a bit smaller. i know its recommended to wait till there about 3 inches long but they haven’t grown in a while. thank you!

Hey all! Should I practice more patience and leave him in the water or would it be good to plant now? There doesn’t seem be anymore sign of new roots 🤷🏽‍♂️ - Monstera Esqueleto -

Water propagating my monstera albo and these have come up on one of my cuttings - is this normal, are these new root shoots? Or is it bad, kind of looks a bit like mould? It’s still shooting the bud out as you can see just no secondary roots…

Hello all! I got these cucumber sprouts from a friend and have had them growing inside for about a month. They were doing really well until I put them outside….some leaves are now turning white. Is this sunburn? I’ve heard of acclimating them before putting them outside full time…..I did not do that. Is it too late to do that now? They’ve been outside now for about a week.
