This is my beautiful geranium. It has a large heavy branch that is falling over. Should I cut that off and try to propagate?

I’ve taken the leap and am propagating my dracaena. The original plant was quite tall, just about 3’, but the bottom half was turning brown and it was rising up the length of the tree. I cut it down to 12”, above the brown section, and removed a few layers of leaves. Now it is sitting in water which I’ll change regularly. I didn’t have propagation media on hand. I’ll let you know how it goes! The right hand photo is the part I removed.

I have a pothos i would like to take some cuttings from and propagate them. My question is.... is it better to root them in water..... or in the soil with root powder?

Hi All! Trying something new this winter- I planted daffodil bulbs in large pots in my garage to prepare them for blooming late winter/early spring and putting them on our deck. I have one that’s waking up already- is this normal? We’re in Colorado at about 6,500 ft for reference. Thanks!

Hello plant friends. I am trying out something i’ve never done before but have been down a deep dive in. I want to start propagating and would love to know everything about it. My first project is to propagate my string of pearls. I cut a few lengths off about 5 inches, i have 8 cuttings that i’m really hoping turn out well. I do only have them in some water but that was a question of mine, should I invest in a solution or something for this process? I’m excited for this. Happy planting!

I’m wanting to prune and propagate my philodendron. I’m only new to plant care so I’m still not sure how to even tell what type of philodendron I have. I think it’s a bipinnatifidum. Any videos and articles leave too many variables to risk my beloved plant by hacking into it while it’s doing so healthy. Does anyone know of what I could do specifically for my exact plant? Propagated my monstera, 6 stems from the mother plant end of November like last week of November. Seen today edges of leaves going lighter green and I can see its dark green veins...anyone know why? What's happening?

Anyone ever grow eucalyptus from seed? I have seeds for a dwarf variety that's said to make a good houseplant but I have no idea what they want and I haven't been able to find much good info. Variety is Moon Lagoon and germination was pretty good: 75%.

I got a black velvet elephant start from a friend. It had been in water with a good root system. I put it in dirt last night and by morning the leaves were curled and dying. Is this plant hopelessly a goner????

Finally got around to digging up and propagating my Colocasia (elephant ear). It’s my first time trying to propagate using the method, and it’s been very cold recently, but I’m hoping for the best. If anyone has any advice, I’d be happy to hear it. Should I sterilize the cuts in any way? Charcoal?
