Hi I’m wanting to ask for advice about propagating some corms i recently found while repotting. I heard fluval is good, however there is an overwhelming amount of different kinds on Amazon, which do you all use or recommend ?

Hey everyone! Have 2 pots with various types of Holiday Cactus clippings I could use some help with! Both pots are indoors but under grow lights 9hrs a day. The one with the arrow pointing to it is the oldest clipping, from almost a year ago. And it hasn’t grown AT ALL! It does have roots, I’ve checked, but no signs of new segments growing at all. No matter what I try, with watering or fertilizing, etc. All the other clippings are from about 4months ago, they haven’t grown either, and the roots are barely there. And no signs of growth on top either. I’m pretty bummed I’ve had no luck with these yet! My grandma (who I got the clippings from) propagated a clipping around the same time the one with the arrow was started(about a year ago). And her plant has grown SO MUCH, like enough to take new clippings from! Any advice to help me jumpstart these would be super appreciated! Thanks!

i was re planting my zz plant and this little guy fell off, is there enough roots to try to re plant it?

Monsterra prop help! My monsterra had root rot, so I took off the bad roots and sanitized the others. During my research, I saw it was recommended to take a node (?) in case the plant doesn’t do well after root rot care. I put these in water, but the roots got all mushy. Can I propagate these without roots? Are they too far gone?

Hello! I have this floral design set my grandma bought off the tv back in the 90s and never used lol I was wondering if it could be used for propagating, or are the little bottles too small to be effective for that? I just thought it would be a neat idea lol

So I’ve been trying to propagate my money tree and for some time it’s had these crystal like things since I started propagating it. It hasn’t developed roots yet. Do I need to wife down the crystals or leave it ? it’s not hard crystals, when changing the water some of the crystals come out. HELP😕

Hi! I’m wanting to propagate the blue outlined part of miss polka and haven’t ever tried with a begonia before. Am wondering if just cutting along that section of stem works?? Also included a photo of how gorgeous she is!!😁🤭

I’ve had a rough two weeks. Today I thought, “I can’t have all these plants. If something goes wrong I won’t be able to take care of them.” …but then I walk into my plant room and see a new growth point, a bloom, and roots on props I made less than a week ago. I’m flooded with joy and right back in it. 💚

Dieffenbachia Help She’s been neglected, may have forgot about her sitting on the balcony for a few weeks. She’s okay, just some browning leaves and dry soil. I rewatered. But for winter, I reeaaallyy want to chop her canes all the way down, like an inch above the soil, because I’m tired of the leggy appearance. If I do that before winter will I kill her? Or do I need to wait until spring? Thank you!

My prince of orange. What’s the best way to prop this at a high success rate? I bought this plant from an Etsy seller and he wasn’t in great condition, and had a terrible mealy bug infestation on this plant and unfortunately its growth has completely stunted. I haven’t had any growth since getting him a 2 months ago. You can see where a growth point began and hasn’t made any progress in a few weeks. I was able to get rid of the pests (thank god) but I think I may need to start him over. Any detailed tips or instructions would be greatly appreciated!

I’m seeking advice on propagating or trimming my purple waffle plant. I got this plant in a fairy garden in October 2023. As it grew, I kept adding posts to support it. Hello! Hoping someone may be able to help me with propagating this elephant bush (Portulacaria Afra)! I keep failing at it and I’m not sure why! I got these cuttings from my Aunt, might have left them out of soil a few days too long to callus though. I watered thoroughly after planting then have left it alone for over a week, and now leaves are dropping off. Any suggestions?? Could I be planting the cuttings too deep?
