I had to cut up my philodendron mayoi today because she wasn't doing so hot š© I have the main plant in water and the 2 babies reported in soil. Am I able to regrow the pplant from these stem cuttings? Or should I just throw it away?

Hello! Been steadily growing my houseplant collection, and I received this today (I think itās an aglaonema?). I considered chucking this in a pot with soil, but now Iām thinking of taking cuttings and propagating them. Where should I cut to get the cuttings for this? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if a polka dot plant would root along its stems if they were pinned down into the soil (kinda like you would do for a plant with areal roots. Pothos, monstera etc) My polka dot plant got super leggy, but now has grown new plants at its base It still has the long stems attached with some leafs still doing well at the top, so I staked it up as it was getting floppy. If I took off the dying leafs in the middle and then circled the stems around the pot and pinned them down do we think theyād root? Iāve never been able to prop my polka dot cuttings in water.

Ok (please donāt come after me for my dirty screen) I wanted to try and propagate from my massive monstera so I clipped this little one out of the pot and put it in some rain water with a couple drops of Prop Drops. She has gave me 2 new baby leaves!!š Iām so in love with herš„° My question.. -when should I repot this little joy in her own pot?

I sowed these bonsai seeds in Sept 7th and only one is growing the (rocky mountain pine) one. Is there anything that I can do to make the others grow as well?

Hello, so iāve been interested in roses recently, and in june i took cutting from different roses i have, and iāve placed them in water for them to grow roots. But idk what these things on the bottom are, and it sure doesnāt look like roots. Can roots still grow? bc those bumps look like they could be blocking root growth. thanks

Why do my propagation sometimes start to rot from the part where it was cut off and make it's way to the top? What can I do to keep this from happening? I really want to have a plant with roots that I can always see.

Hi everyone! I bought this Florida philodendron (think itās a beauty but may be a ghost) rooted cutting back in June. Itās rooted well and still looking healthy but there is literally no sign of any growth. So basically I have just a leaf. Am I being too impatient or is there something I can do to help it grow anything š

Iām so proud of this Adansonii propagation š„¹. Iāve found that plants will prop much faster in a bottle/ vase that is a darker color or completely opaque.
