I have more than what is shown, a friend passed and I have all of these now, I've never had more than one kind of plant in a pot at once, what would you guys do? Repot them all? I live in west ga. Freezing cold right now also so I have to wait and they're starting to droop š
Hello everyone, when do you all add propagated plants to your Planta records? I propagated some succulent leaves that are now growing plantlets but I donāt know if I should log them yet or if I shouldāve added them some time ago. Some of these guys have the leaf they grew off of still attached, others have already dropped it. Some have one plantlet, most have two, and one has no plantlet yet although it has rooted. At what stage would you add a new little guy to your plant log? I was thinking once a plantlet appears but sometimes a second plantlet will appear later, although Iām not sure that really matters to the app. I was also thinking that once the original leaf/cutting roots it would be ok to add but that might be too early since no new plant would be present, and the original leaf is not going to stay anyway. Iām not sure which of my little guys I should log, if any. The 1st pot on the left is the only one with roots but no plantlet. All other pots have plantlets, although some have their original leaf attached while others donāt. Most pots have two leafs propagating but others are solo. If anyone would be able to provide feedback or advice I would greatly appreciate it!
I have this cuttingā¦ any advice if thereās anywhere else I can cut to trim it down? And any recommendations for water prop or straight into soil? TIAš

Novaās leaves are still firm and she seems happy! If itās been a week and a few days in her new home can I assume my Jade cutting has formed some roots!!?
A string fell off my string of hearts so Iām trying to propagate it. Will this work? Itās under a grow light.

Hi! I was just wanting to get others thoughts on this string of turtles to see if I need to upgrade pot size and propagate some of it? Iām afraid itās getting too crowded in this small pot, they seem to be layering up but I also know they have small roots.
Another one of my first props!! She was in two separate jars but today I combined them in a new jar!! They are doing so amazing from the roots to the new growth on the foliage!! I absolutely love them šš±š!!
One of my very first propagations!! Sheās been in smaller jars so I moved her to this bigger jar cuz her roots are growing so big and so strong!! Iām thinking Iāll keep her a water š§ plant!! I just hope she does as well in this jar as she did the smaller one!! I combined them from the two smaller containers and put them together!! I think they look so beautiful š¤©!!
Hello friends! This is my first ever post so please be patient. One of the people in my friend group trimmed her Pothos, and she is giving away some of the vines for propagation. This will be my first ever Pothos, and I know theyāre not hard but I want to do this right. What would be the best way to propagate this? Thank you in advance!
So I told yall my spider plant let out a vine. I know you guys have said itās gonna give me spider babies. However, it gave me these lil white flowers and also the baby spider plants. I got up today and the white flowers are gone. Iām not sure if theyāll closed or what because thereās no dropping on my floor so where could they have gone š¤š¤š¤
So quick update on my propagation with my Pilea I started last week. I see roots ( I believe) growing on this one. I did change out the water once.
Such a whirlwind of emotions when propagating and you have to sacrifice some great leafs for the benefit of the plantš
Hello, has anyone tried to grow Echeveria succulents from seed? I was going to buy some soon, i know the process will be long to get a fully grown plant but i think itll be fun to watch them grow from this stage sooooā¦ has anyone got any tips or suggestions and does anyone have any good suppliers as i was going to go for Succulent Pallet on etsy.
I just got a Red King Kong aeonium cluster and itās been a minute since I got one with minimal rooting. I have her in a ceramic pot with cactus soil. How often should I water to get those roots really popping?
Every time I try to propagate a plant, whether in soil or water, it somehow fails. The cuttings just shrivel up and die. The only exception was my pink variegated micans, and even that plant was barely hanging on at the time. The last time I trimmed my plants, I didnāt even bother trying to propagate them properly. I just tossed the cuttings into a zip-lock bag with some sphagnum moss and left the bag in a corner. I completely forgot about them. When I finally looked again, they were growing roots. What really surprised me was that even the extra cuttings in the bag without any moss had started rooting too. The only moisture they had was whatever was left from when I rinsed them after cutting. At this point Iām convinced my plants either dislike me personally or they only thrive when I leave them alone. šæš
