Cactus Propagation
I am trying to figure out the best way to propagate my cactus. In the image with the arrows I’m trying to decide which cactus leaf would be best to remove, the blue arrow, the pink, yellow, or two or three? I want to keep this cactus healthy, but it would be nice to have two propagates in case one fails. Is it best to twist the leaf off, or cut it?
I believe I should then dip it in root hormone do I do that immediately or let it callous over first? If I let it callous how long do I wait to put the hormone on? I’m guessing it would then be best to place directly into cactus/succulent soil, versus water? I’m very confused on the timing of removal, root hormone, then when to put it in soil/water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Cactus from mixed seed in humidity dome, kept at 25⁰C (Automated UFH Stat and Probe) and 12 hour light. 3 little Heads in the last few days, what should my next steps be? I don't see many posts about seeding. Nothing happening yet with the other sized seeds, they'll probably take longer.

Plumeria Question!!!
I’m noticing with all three of my plumeria cuttings that the top part with the leaves tend to squish up and not take root while the stem cuttings harden off and propagate nicely. Is there a specific reason for this? Am I just doing it wrong?

i propagated this pothos directly into soil 1 week ago- the picture from the side view (right) was directly after potting and the one from the front of the house pot (left) was this morning. it has not started growing roots yet.
i cut below the node and dipped it in rooting powder before planting it, and i’ve tried to keep the soil moist but not soggy. i also used a plastic bag over top to keep humidity.
what should i do from here? i’m worried the leaves look a little droopy & im curious to if i should keep the plastic bag over top or not? i’m also open to any other tips so let me know any thoughts 😁😁

trying to prop my money tree cuttings and these white dots appeared ! i read somewhere that they are signs of roots wanting to grow so im excited ! (please tell me if its not that though so i can prevent disaster 😭🤣)

Propagating for the first time and splitting my ZZ plant. Was very careful with roots when separating and repotting. Pot is about 1-2 inches wider than root ball. Watered it after repotting which was about 3-4 days ago. It’s in a north facing window. Total beginner so tell me why are the leaves yellowing? Do I need to just wait it out?

I'd like to introduce Manny, he is a sapling from a mango I was sent from my neighbor in Puerto Rico where I winter. I propagated this from seed. He just about a month old now and doing quite well on my back covered deck. I have a 2nd seedling in the works from a different variety. I have been using Banana water as a growth booster.

I have this “little” guy in a pot facing south. Unfortunately, he took the “grow dammit” encouragement a bit too seriously.
Can I clip his stem at the base of the leaves and stick him back in the dirt? Id like to keep him in this pot, but the stem is just too long to keep the way it is.

Eeeeek cut my Monstera today 🫣 she was so leggy and I had over watered her a couple weeks ago. Is this fine or are my cuttings to compact?
