SEEKING SUPPORT! ALL TIPS AND TRICKS WELCOME! 🙏🏽🪴🪴🪴 So this year was my first year growing amaryllis bulbs and they were absolutely gorgeous! 🥰🥰 After doing some research found that after they were finished blooming I should let them stay in the pot for about 5 weeks to soak up energy from the sun and strengthen the bulb before I force them into dormancy. After 5 weeks of sun to remove them from the pot, cut back the leaves and roots. And place in a paper bag and put them in the fridge for another 5-8 week rest period. 😳🤔 My goal is to get a flush of flowers in the summer and then again in winter (if I time it right.) 😂😏 Is anyone familiar with this process? I am open to any suggestions, tips or tricks. 😬
Is my monstera ready to be planted? I’ve been propagating it in water for about 3 months.
so excited to see this growth (,:
Hi! I would like to propagate these succulent leaves but I’m not exactly sure how. I was hoping someone could please explain a good way to propagate these. Thank you!
Hello everyone!! My grandma recently was asking about one of her tree plants she has. Does anyone know what kind of plant this is?? Also, does anyone have recommendations on how to repot this behemoth of a plant?
Okay don't make fun of me, I have no idea what I'm doing! I'm even more of a beginner than your average beginner, but I'm attempting to propagate my Fittonia. Followed some steps I found on Google. Any tips or recommendations?
I want to keep a ivy plant from outside should I use leca to start off
Hello, I just got this from a plant shop, it was on the floor and the lady at check out said I could just take it. It’s a zz plant, can I grow a new plant from this and how is best to do it?? Thank you!
2 week update on my water propagation. There used to be rosemary cuttings in here but they died a terrible death and I have no idea why so I threw them out (and will probably just buy more rosemary tbh). So my og golden pothos cuttings are in the middle two vials (my cat got to one of the leafs but it’ll still going, not hoping too much for that one) and then the outside vials I put some new neon pothos cuttings in! You can also see a couple floating bits of stem with nodes on them, I was going to throw it all out but I figured what’s the harm in adding in there just in case those root nodes grow! Also pictured is some Echeveria trying to grow in some water, I read that you’re suppose to put the root like juuust above the water line so it’s in just a tiny little container
Propagation progress and a whole lot today 🖤 So monstera got its first root sprout😩 Tiger Lilly bulb cracked open so showing progress already and it hasn’t even been 7 days yet 🙌🏼 My Alocasia corm (found on the root of a sick Alocasia silver dragon I bought to bring back) is already cracking open less than 7 days as well new to plants so I was amazed to find out they have little baby corms on roots And my Pothos has strong roots and ready to plant but I’ll wait for Saturday or Sunday to do so
If I cut below a few more nodes, would this leave still develop? I probably should have done it sooner, because it’s a bit tall
This branch broke off of my Flaming Katy (not sure why but where the plant meets the soil some roots are becoming very weak and snapping off - not sure if this is root rot or due to small flies I’ve been seeing around the plant). I tossed this in some water to see what would happen and now I’m finding this tiny root looking things at the bottom. Should I put this in soil? Or is it too far gone?
Propagate👏🏼Your👏🏼Plants👏🏼 • • • I just got 6 new babies from these Golden Pothos cuttings that I had propagating in water for some time🤩
Hi Fam. does anyone know what this white stuff is on my fiddle leaf prop? It’s def not a root.
Sooooo… are those tiny little figs? 🧐 I trimmed my outdoor Brow Turkey Fig tree about a month and a half ago. While looking at all the bits on the ground I felt guilty and decided to propagate some. These 2 branches moved into an enclosed prop box with perlite. Clearly very happy there since the leaves are emerging but what are those little bulbous things??? If they are figs, I should cut them off right? Surely these don’t have good root systems since they’ve only been independent for 6 weeks? Any insight is appreciated!
My Dragon’s Tail is really climbing! No new leaves though. Can I propagate? Where would I make the cut(s)?
This is my first Curly Spider plant (Vent…) All of these were shoved in a 4” plant pot about 6 months ago. I “rescued it” and divided a put all the babies in this 12” pot. It’s really starting to puff out now, but when I washed it today I noticed this new extension. Do I clip the piece off and root it in water ? It leave it attached and wait for air foots to form?
Anyone know a good way to propogate satin pothos? I have one that struggled initially but is now at least 4 ft long but has some very bare vines about a foot or so up. I've put her on a moss pole just to see if I can get some of those lower nodes to activate. She had a giant root system but other than that, she's just putting out very bare, very small leaves will she grow bigger leaves for me again once she gets rooted in the pole? Or is she just going to be all legs? Picture for reference. I didn't have a clean pot for all of it
My first one lol What should I do with it ? What’s the best way to get this to grow guy?
