Did I leave too many leaves? Thinking of removing the biggest two (the lowest leaves). It's my first time and I read up a ton before I cut it, but I'm unsure of myself on this part! Tia!

Once upon a time there was a beautiful Ficus ‘shivereana’ whose leaves turned brown and rotted away with a blink of an eye. Meet Silvia she has been dying as fast as she has been growing. One day she’d had enough and a cutting was made, now she thrives with new roots! Loving the sun on the face of her leaves 💚

I was thinking about propagating this Chinese money plant. Do I just cut it, like where my orange mark is, and put it in some water to root? I’m scared I will hurt my beautiful plant 🪴 it’s never had little offshoots so maybe it’s not ready to be propagated?

This is Richie. I wanna know if this plant is easy to propagate? And if so, can I please get tips/instructions? He keeps losing leaves and becoming all stem.

Is this propagation station too thin for the prop? Will it affect the roots growing?

Hi y’all I’m struggling with my tradescantia and noticed root rot today. I had to cut off most of the plant and don’t know what I did wrong. I changed it to a water only pot with fertilizers cause others were saying they tend to do better. Maybe I wasn’t changing the water often enough. I did have the leaves above the water. But it’s lost all of its roots and I need to propagate it now. Should I wait for it to callous first before I put it back into water? Thanks y’all for your help.

I’m propagating my pothos. I put one cutting in soil and one in water. I watered the soil with rooting hormone and put rooting hormone in the water. The last time I propagated a pothos in water the end just turned brown and mushy and no roots grew, any advice VERY MUCH APPRECIATED, thanks for helping a bumbling plant lover!!!!

Hey guys, can anyone tell me why my roots are growing super long but with no secondary roots? They’ve been propping for months, I change out the water every week or two, and started adding a bit of fertilizer after the roots grew. The left bulb is philodendron micans, the other ones are satin “pothos” (scindapsus but idk which kind). The ones in the pink jar have many nodes with roots coming out but they’re all singular, no secondaries. Also this window they’re in is east facing and gets morning sun, idk if that matters (and yes I repositioned the leaves so they’re not in water and not blocking the others, I had just set this down when I took the pic). Any thoughts?

Quick question yall! I’m new to trying to propagate plants and the only thing I have been successful with is pothos. I am trying to propagate my rose bushes and I have had zero luck. I have added pictures of the parent rose bushes I am attempting to do it with. The methods I have used is putting a cutting in water, putting a cutting in soil with root hormone powder, and scoring a branch while still on the bush + root hormone powder on the scored area and wrapping it in soil/saran wrap and left for a couple of weeks. None worked. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure if this is the place to post it, but I’m propagating Frangipanis. I have three pots just like this with four cuttings each. What should my next step be? My current thought process/idea is act as if I’m repotting them and take the ones out with good roots and give them their own pot instead of sharing with other cuttings Any and all advice appreciated!

Will this root? The spiderette has several other leaves to it too but they were weak so they kind of just fell off. It was being propagated in water.

Hello! I’m fairly new to having plants and these have fallen off of the jade plant I have in my salon. The larger one with the brown base, is it rotting? Calloused? Since they fell off on their own can I still replant them?

Hey plant friends! I’ve already cut some vines from the philodendron, but I’m not totally sure where to divide them for proper propagation — or which method works best to get healthy roots. Where exactly should I cut each vine to make individual cuttings? (Is one node enough? Leaf required?) Best rooting method for each — water, moss, perlite, LECA? Tips for faster rooting or things to avoid?
