Hey I need help! I am trying to propagate this alocasia plant! I’m pretty confident it’s an alocasia because of the leaves however the color is much lighter than I’ve ever seen minty green I’d call it. Anyway I’ve had in water (changing the water every couple of days) but the color seems off on the Ariel root and that one left step. I have had very little success propagating (just a tomato plant which is easy) I want so much for this one to be ok. Any help you can provide id appreciate!!

my spider plant is growing new babies/lwave anf i’m wondering what to do with them? i’m planning on giving them to family and friends but i don’t know how to propagate or whatever
I’m propping my pepperomia, and I have never done it before. When do I know that it’s ready for repotting? What are the cute little shoots coming out the bottom??
Moon Valley Pilea propagation: I've had this pilea cutting rooting in water for over 3 months now- it's pushed out leaves and seemed fine up until 2 weeks ago, now it's yellowing and drooping!! My guess is that it needs more nutrients (from soil), but I'm not sure how to put it into soil. The roots are really thin and tangled so I don't know how to safely get it in without damage. What should I do????
Hi folks, what's the best thing for me to do with these babies? Shall I take them all off or just the gigantic one? Any advice on removing and planting will be much appreciated!
Hey guys! Can someone tell me how to propagate a variegated string of hearts? I’ve tried SO many times and they all die, thanks so much!💚
Can I propagate these ? They were on the floor of my grocery store?
My last two cuttings failed, so I've started another batch of five on my variegated english oak project. I have two in water, two in soil, and one in sphagnum, with varying thickness and age. As expected, oak is being an absolute pain to prop, but I am more stubborn than the tree. I have two surviving non-variegated saplings from last year, so I'll try grafting on those (not sure whether to do that now or wait till they're a bit bigger.) If anyone has had success with propagating oaks, especially cuttings, I'd appreciate any tips
Is that lil poo a root???
First Basil yield! After failing epically on my indoor tomatoes & peppers, am getting my confidence back!
Just moved two of my Variegated Alocasia macrorrhizo corms from moss to stratum/perlite. Really hoping they adapt well.
Hello just wondering if I’m able to soon propagate my string of hearts soon? How do I know? Also when I go to repot again I’ll be adding them all together I just haven’t gotten there yet and don’t want to stress them out 🥰🙌
What am I supposed to do this this thing? This prayer plant has gone all leggy and I'm afraid to try to trim her since I almost killed her three months ago. I trimmed a leaf and node and they have yet to root in water (but still alive???). Help me.
Are these rotting or normal for pothos?
PSA I got a set of these wall mounted propagation stations at Walmart on clearance for $4! Hopefully my little inch plant takes off!
Hey guys! I am trying to propagate my snake plant. I did cut off one of the leaves and did the v cut in the bottom of the leaf. I put it in water and change it regularly. Yet the leaf is becoming yellow and quite transparent, no sign of roots. What did I do wrong? I would love to try again but I don’t want to cut my plant without knowing what is the matter.
Hello! I know the succulents can be propogated, but I’m wondering if any of these other ones can? If so, how do I do it? Thank you!
My friend gave me this aloe cutting yesterday when she accidentally snapped it off of her plant. I’m currently keeping it next to our kitchen window in the same container with a spider plant, which already has more than enough good roots to be potted, I just haven’t gotten around to it. Is there anything I should do differently to make it grow roots? Edit: I also snapped the tip on accident when I dropped it, will that be fine?
I have these succulents + some lucky bamboo propagating in water. Does anybody know when I should move the succulents into soil or can they be left in water for the long-term? Some of them already have roots and seem to be growing. I have some string of bananas, string of pearls, string of dolphins, and burro's-tail. Same question for lucky bamboo but I'm not as concerned about that one since I know they can grow in water.
Starting my propagation projects 🥳
