Hi, I am hoping someone can help me identifying what plant this is. My grandma gave me the plant to propagate but did not know what it was. It has roots on it now, but I am unsure what type of soil, etc that it needs. Help! :) Thank you in advance!
Help! This is my second attempted to grow garlic in a pot. I can get them to sprout, but both times they last about a week before turning brown and decomposing. They are planted in a 50/50 mix of compost and potting soil. 😪🤷♂️
Hello everyone and happy Monday! I have been wanting to begin growing some sort of wildflowers for this coming summer, I live in Oregon. Has anyone grown flowers successfully? If so how did you go about doing so? I have over 100 houseplants and I’ve mastered the indoor plants but I want to get into growing wildflowers and other things outside. I was thinking of starting them in a prop box with some soil and plenty of light but I wasn’t sure if this would be successful way of growing them. Any ideas and advice would be great! 🌼
Just curious are these the roots?
When watering my plant, this limb TRAGICALLY got caught on the kitchen cabinet and popped off 😭 I’ve never tried to propagate from a clipping before. Does this look like a good candidate? Just set it in a vase of water?
how do u propagate a zee zee plant :)
Last week my mother and I planted a bunch of basil and they just sprouted! Can't wait to use them
So I have a Christmas cactus cutting. Do you think the roots are big enough to plant into soil?
Mango tree sprout is doing well. Can anyone tell me of its normal for the leaves to droop down like they are? Am I doing something wrong?
Hi! This is Rosita, a neon robusta, I bought her last year on july in the same pot of the photos. Even though the pot lacks drainage, I believe she's thriving. I try not to overwater, I've never fertilized, nor repotted, nor added pesticides. Should I repot her? Completely or only part of her? I'm new at this and any advice is welcome. First photo is when I bought her vs. how she's looking right now.
Newbie here and newbie plant momma. Got this guy from Walmart at 50% off because the cashier thought the plant didn't look right. I tried to tell her it is supposed to look like this, but I had two other plants who didn't look great (pink princess and a pink waffle), so she discounted my entire order. Three plants for $13 and change. 🤭 I'm wondering if I can propagate this part right here that is growing out and has the little nodes showing.
Can I just admit I am not looking forward to repotting this pilea white splash and it's 10,000 pups
Does anybody have any ideas for how to clean up this planter? I kinda just threw all those plants in about 1-1.5 years ago and basically left it alone since then. The elephant bush and bunny ears cactus are overtaking it. I cut back and propagated them both a few months ago, but I’m feeling overwhelmed with how much the elephant bush is growing. How much can I cut back the elephant bush without it going into shock?
At what point do you plant after being in water? Thank you!
Received this cutting from my barber😂😂! I don't know what it is but it's very pretty and seems like a philodendron or pothos of some sort. Sorry if the photos are bad it's getting dark and I don't have a great light in this room. I don't think it's quite ready for dirt, but those Ariel roots are new. Not sure if it's confused... Anyways, let me know what you think it is, dying to know!
Hey all. I inherited this plant that I’m 99% sure is some kind of Dracaena, however it is like 8 feet tall and very top heavy. It tends to tip over and spill its pot. I’m wondering if chopping the top where the healthy leaves are would be viable as a propagation and if so how to do it?
Hey plant besties! I bought this marbled queen pothos last night, i want to propagate and I have successfully done so with my golden pothos well. My concern is i haven’t tried to with such a big plant before and the longer “branches” with lots of nodes and stuff are yellowish not so much green. Should i be concerned about to the yellow color or is the common and ok for this type of pothos?
Propagation station all set up and ready to go!
erm my flipping monstera isnt growing roots i did a sterile cutting but the node is a but short. the leaves b everything is healthy but mab i did it wrong? i have successful propagations js not w this specific plant😭😭😭 yall do i wait some more bc there wasnt an aerial root i js cut...SHOOT was that it
