Is there any way I can propagate this plant?
I have this Chinese Money Plant propagation, but I can’t tell if these are little roots that are growing or something else.. I have this propagation sitting in water, not soil. I change the water at least once a week & I have it about a foot away from the window so it’s getting sunlight but not direct sunlight because I’m scared it’ll scorch. Any ideas?
Where can I go to get plant cuttings for propagation?
This is my first time trying propagation so wish me luck 😅 Any tips and tricks would be useful
My new bud vases converted to propagation equipment. (Amazon, Glass Esmiome - Green)
Houseplants, for the most part, I don’t have a problem propagating. Herbs, on the other hand, I’ve had success in the past but my current cuttings are struggling. Or maybe I’m impatient. It’s been nearly a month. I prop in water (same as last time), and they’re thriving, but I’m not seeing roots. I’ve got sage and rosemary going. I’ve done rosemary before but sage is new to me. Has anyone else done these and had success? Did I just get lucky the first time?
I was going to donate these nail polish holders but i got the idea to use them for my propagations! i like the idea of each prop having its own individual grow area :)
My moon cactus is very very sad. Somehow she has not all the way died but she’s on her way. Does anyone know how I could revive/propagate her?
I’m propagating Golden Pothos cuttings in water. Several are ready to be transferred into soil, but then when I went to do that today, I noticed this weird white stuff on the underwater nodes of several of them. Anyone know what this is? (Cross posted from Pothos group, apologies if you’re seeing it twice!)
hey all , this leaf seems to be done propagating, i’ve never been past this so now do i get rid of the leaf and this little head will grow roots? any help is appreciated 💚
My Alocasia Polly broke my heart and died. She did however leave a little green baby body and two little bulbs! I want to do right by their momma! Help!
Should I propagate this polka dot begonia? It just produced a bloom. It’s is very leggy. Should I repot? It is on my porch and is LOVING it! Lots of new leaves! Leave it alone?? Help!
Currently propping these pothos cuttings in water. It’s been about 2 weeks. Do they look ready to plant in soil? I’m not seeing any secondary roots yet. How important are secondary roots for potting?
My friends monstera wasn’t doing great so I chopped off the leaves that we’re struggling below the node to give the rest of the plant a better chance but also to try propagating however my cutting isn’t doing well it’s deteriorating and I’m wondering what I should do. Can it still be propagated with the node even if the leaves are dead ? UPDATE: I changed the water one of the leaves fell off the bottom is looking pretty brown however there is some healthy green.
I’m so excited! My first pearl and jade pothos prop has a baby leaf🥺 I think it’s loosing the bigger leaf because it’s yellowed and turned pale, but I’m okay with that because that means all it’s energy will be on the new one!!
My Alocasia stingray farm!!! The corms are rooting well in water and sprouting leaves. Maybe time to plant in sphagnum to transition to soil? My other props in this pic are also doing great 😊
Marble queen pothos cutting is starting to root!
Just picked up this monstera. First time with these plants not yet in soil. Was rooting in moss. Planning to move it into mix of pearlite/moss/fluval aquarium stratum. How do I know how often to mist/water? Also concerned with black spot on side of stem but it is not squishy nor are any of the roots. All tips/comments welcome. Thanks!
I’m new to plants in general and I’ve only successfully propagated 1 jade plant leaf before this. I had no idea what i was doing but now that I have this app I would love to get some tips and help when it comes to jade plants specifically. I got this bunch 2-4 days ago have been letting them sit but a few are turning dark purple/black at the tip. Is there something im doing wrong or anything i could do to improve the process?
