My little Ellie (alocasia) is growing a new leaf and I’m just so happy for her. Thought I would lose her for a bit there but happy to see her thriving! 🫶🏼
hii! i cut my curly spider plant about a month ago and its been it water since (yes i changed the water). The roots (or root) aren’t growing. Am i doing something wrong?? Thanks! Also sorry for the photo quality 😭😭
Been propagating this monstera “cutting” (it was a broken off piece of Monstera I found on the floor of Home Depot a while back) in a Starbucks cup for a couple months. She’s clearly ready for soil now, but I keep putting it off because Im torn on how big of a pot I should put her in. What size pot would you put this in? I have 4”, 5” and 6” nursery pots.
Found wild Swiss cheese plant in my yard!!!! I propagated some leaves today… hope it roots!
The first leaf on my monstera obliqua unfurled 🥲
I have a basil cutting and was wondering what the best method of propagation is!
Getting ready to transfer this rescued monstera cutting to soil. It’s been in water for the last 3 weeks. I’m not sure if it’s ready for soil, and thought I should bring it up on here. Does anyone think it’s ready or not?
Does anyone know what plant this cutting is? Also, how do I profligate it. It was a gift and I’d love to know more about it and make it flourish. Thanks!
This guy used to be bushy when he was a baby. Now i think it’s become a little bit leggy. Should I behead him?
Can someone help me learn how to propagate my jade plant? He got a little sick a while back and is back to full health now, but i really want to get some more growth on it so it looks more full like how it used to be! I just have no idea how to start. Any help would be appreciated :)
some baby peperomia ‘hope’ sproutlets coming up from a leaf i planted a month or two ago. just wondering how long everyone’s props tend to root before they grow new leaves. the standard for me seems to be 1-2 weeks for stem cuttings (like pothos, tradescantia, monstera, or even spider pups), 2-4 for succulents (leaf or stem), and leaf cuttings like from peperomias or sansevieria tend to take 6-8 weeks.
3 of my current propagation projects! I took these cuttings at the same time and it’s been crazy watching how they grow differently. The pothos has exploded with roots. The fiddle took a while and then exploded with roots. The rubber plant only has a little growth but I’m being patient.. 🫶🏻
Not sure if my baby Chinese money plant has enough roots to pot. Please let me know if I should or if I should wait for more roots to grow first
When propagating an American Rubber Plant, is there a certain procedure or can I just cut off one of the leaves and stick it in water? Also about how long will it take for it to grow if it is propagated properly? Thank you all in advance!
Got the far left clipping of what I believe is some kind of dracaena at work yesterday ☺️ any ideas on what plant this is exactly? Also propagating a philodendron cordatum and spider plant, featuring my monstera adonsonii that grew from clippings 🌱
Just propagated this neon pathos. Ever since I potted it it doesn’t look so great. It’s slowing trying to grow a new stem. Any recommendations on soil fertilizer? How much sunlight? Does the top of soil usually go white when drying out?
Do my tradescantia stems look ready to pot?
Hey y’all! This Echeverría leaf is growing a new plant! What are some next steps I should take? Like should I put this baby in soil? Remove the leaf? How do I make this a successful propagation?
New marble queen pothos and philodendron brasil propagations!!!
