I just notched my Thai constellation last night and I was wondering what I should do while the notch heals?
After I initially notched it, I added a little hydrogen peroxide to the wound, then maybe 7 hours later before I went to bed, and a little more this morning. I figured that was probably a good thing... I’m adding a very small amount to the wound, like a drop, so I don’t harm it.
I worry I won’t heal the notch correctly and end up rotting it or have to end up chopping it and start over.
Lmk!

HELP😩
My begonia cracklin Rosie broke and I’ve never propagated a begonia before, is this savable?? Can I mend her broken stem?? There are tons of growth points on the broken part but I don’t know where to propagate!

My last round of props did so well I had to try it again. Last round was the maranta and the monstera Thai constellation, this round is a lot of pothos’ and a top cutting from my pink princess philodendron. All cuttings dipped in rooting powder and then set for 2 hours before putting in water 🌱💧

I’ve been having this guy propagating for about 9 months now… and I just noticed it is growing these little babies.. any idea on what I should do? I’m so scared to pot it and kill it and have no idea how to handle the baby situation!

I found all of these little guys in my parlor palm…. Do you use these to propagate? I’ve never owned one before. Some of them have roots growing from them. If so, how do you propagate them?

Anyone know what this is? It’s a random bulb I found in my cabinet. I’ve had it in water and the yellow leaves turned green and I’m about to put it up cause the bulb is getting squishy but I have no clue what it could be!

Is this (red circle) a node on my prayer plant? She’s getting a little leggy/lopsided and awkward so I want to propagate, but I’m scared of just chopping a leaf off.

It finally happened! I have roots on my snake plant cuttings! 😍 For this second go around I added a splash of hydrogen peroxide to the water and I’m gonna say that it definitely helped!

Hey guys. I hope everyone is well.
I am propagating my golden pothos and this leaf was fully green when I put it in the water, but now it is yellowing and browning. But it’s also actively growing a root while it is getting more of the yellow/brown coloration.
I am confused as to what to do here. Do I throw it out or is there still hope for it? I am fairly new to plants so I’m still learning how to diagnose and treat issues. I do have 3 other cuttings that are doing well so if this one doesn’t survive I have others.

I really want to propagate my Peperomia, do you guys think it is the right time to do it?

What do I do with the baby? If I just let it go, will it get too crowded?

How do I propagate a bunny ears cactus?

My spider plant grew some seed pods and they recently opened, can anyone give me advice for how to grow them? Should I just stick them straight into soil or germinate first?

I haven’t really grown anything from seed before. A friend got me a Bonsai starter kit with seeds and a soil puck. The instructions said to soak the seeds for 18-24 hrs before planting them, and to take the seeds that sunk to the bottom of the bowl. Unfortunately I didn’t get around to planting the seeds after soaking them, and it’s been a few weeks since I did that. Have I ruined these seeds by soaking them and not planting them the next day? If not, do I need to soak them again before I plant them?

Hi everyone! I need a little help with my zebra succulent. It has a new plant growth on its vine, which I didn’t know couldn’t happen! How do I propagate this? Much thanks in advance!

Hey y’all so I found this leaf behind my counter with what to me looks like a node. I don’t know how many days it was back there or how it fell off but I decided to put it in water to see if it’ll root. The only thing is that the leaf is looking a lil well ….. Sad and wrinkly . it was a lot worse when I found it. So I have a lil hope for it, but I’m new to this and naive. Y’all think it’ll root?

I purchased 10 bare root strawberry plants this spring and they are growing like crazy. They are June bearing Allstars and I have been pinching both suckers and flowers to the plants to focus on root growth until next year. That said, several of them have developed multiple crowns and I am wondering if I should separate the crowns into individual plants and if so, should I do it now, or when they are dormant this winter. I have a “3-year plan” for my berry patch. Year 1, pinch all suckers and flowers, year 2 and 3 pinch suckers until after fruit is harvested. Plants older than 3 years tend to produce less so may or may not be removed. If I split the crowns, they have to be dug up so should I now view them as year 1 again and let them re-root or go ahead and let them fruit?
I have Sparkler variety June bearing as well and more of those have multiple crowns but the super hot weather seems to be stressing them so I’m planning to leave the alone this year instead of splitting them (unless they can be spot while dormant.)
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help or make suggestions!

First time propagating super sweet cherry 100 tomatoes! Propagated in a RO water in a humidity dome left for 8 days. No changing water. Any recommendations now? Transplant to soil? 👍🔥

I’ve always water propagate pothos and I know it gives the best results….
3 and half months ago, I noticed a leaf with a stem was slowly dying so I tugged it and off it came. Decided to do my own experiment seeing if I could prop just a simple leaf and it had this tiny long “hair” that I couldn’t tell if it was a root already or not. But somehow all those months, this leaf stuck it out and continued to be most vibrant dark green, no signs of dying which baffled my mind.
Today, I went to do water change and I just noticed the roots are finally out!
Guys, what? I’ve always been told pothos are best propagate below nodes. I didn’t know this was even possible? 😳
