Does anyone have any realistic suggestions regarding what I can do during the winter for my plant's health? I live in New York and my older house can be chilly and dry when itās cold out, regardless of having the heat on (it sucks for me, too!) Iāve tried a humidifier but it only made it colder and didnāt help my plants overall :(

One leaf dies every time a new leaf comes . Not able to solve the issue. Please help.
After the summer my calandiva lost all it's leaves due to lack of watering while I was gone. After following some advice I put it in a darker spot and have seen some recover of leaves. Does anyone know how else I can support it to grow, or should I just leave it? Also, should I cut down the stems so the leaves grow lower to the pot or no? Any advice is helpfull.
got these extremely sad cuttings yesterday. thought yall might like to see their rehab progress in one day! [last Pic they are in the bottom left of the photo, in leca]
Hi everyone! Update: the kalanchoe got powdery mildew yet again. She is overall very sickly and survived a whole lot, pests, molds, ect. over the past year. Do you have any advice for starting one over from scratch? Do I cut everything down to a stump? or propagate? You think this one has a chance at a respectable afterlife? Thank you guys! I'd really appreciate any advice on this one:)
what can I do for this poor palm? does he have a pest? or why does he just keep dying? what am I doing wrong? he's in topsoil/perlite mix, watered maybe once a week, under a grow light... wasa wondering if a little terrarium would help him? idk!
I noticed some brown spots on my pitcher plant What could I do to fix this
Hi! I picked up this Moonshine Snake Plant from a nursery, and have some questions about the leaves. Two of the leaves have these brown/orange spots, but Iām unsure what they are or what this means for the plant. Thereās also a couple leaves that have cuts in them, and where I donāt mind them, I just want to make sure it wonāt affect the health of the plant. Thank you for your help! ššŖ“
Iāve been trying to tell my friend that her herbs need direct sunlight for about two months now, but she didnāt believe me until I showed her the Planta Auto-diagnosis and explained direct vs. indirect lighting to her š So she has a sage plant, thyme, and rosemary. Iāll be blunt⦠they look absolutely terrible. Do they even have a chance if she puts them in direct lighting? She bought them and put them in a little wooden trough-type box she painted with her old dogās name on it (she passed away 4 ish months ago) so I really want to help her if I can. Thank you so much
Hey everyone! I wanted to ask for some recovery advice for my absolute legend of a kalanchoe. She survived powdery mildew, aphid infestation, and being severely underwatered, all over the past year. She seems to be chillin and recovering pretty well with those little leaves popping up over the last month, but I wonder if there's anything else I could do to give her a bit of help to thrive:) Maybe fertilizer? Or should I just leave her alone for a bit? Would appreciate any advice here.
Iām a new plant owner, my prayer plant is not doing so well. What is this all over her? Can she be saved? TIA
hi. I'm writing here today.. to admit my addiction of overwatering my plants. x.x I must unlearn to love them too much. at least my philodendrons are happy! š š¤£
Morning! Got this friend from the local garden centres discount bin and wanted to save it. I've not done anymore than keep it to a watering/misting schedule, hoping to get some advice on going further and bringing it back to full health. Cheers!
my lil prop station and rehab/second chance plants
Hey guys! I really want to save this one! It's really been thriving but all of a sudden this morning it was bent over and the bottom looked like a goner. Of course the top half is still doing well. I drowned it in water this morning even adding some arriation holes. I'm scared to cut it and try to propagate. Any suggestions?
Hi all! Found an anonymous bulb today freezing in the sidewalk, took it home. I'm guessing it is a tulip, most often they are planted in gardens in the area. Watched some videos on indoor tulip planting, but I'd appreciate any help or advice from anyone with experience growing these lil babies. Thank you!
So my jade is not happy.. Iām not watering her much after seeing this problem. I did remove the leaves that had issues. What am I doing wrong? I donāt want to loose her š¢
My nieces messed with my plant and I honestly dunno what to do
Iām so sad. I got this baby a little over a week ago and it appears sheās still not doing well. Iām assuming itās a mix of too much water and the shock (cause she was shipped from Florida to Texas). Since taking that photo the top leaf has fallen. I potted in better soil and have put her next to my pink princess philo who also suffered a move from Cali to Texas and didnāt take it well. Hopefully they can bond over their shared trauma any my pinky can talk this sad baby off the edge of death š
Does anybody know whatās wrong with my Hoya Karri I saw a little yellow on it a few weeks back it just kept getting worse
