I was out of town for only a week, and my syngonium hanging in a Kokedama turned red and got all droopy. The leaves had a bit of red of them before, but mostly they were dark green. It seemed happy and healthy when I left. I watered it when I got home last night, but it hasn’t really perked up much. It’s in a south-facing window in the bathroom, so there’s decent humidity and plenty of light, but it was mostly cloudy last week so I’m not sure it was an issue with too much light, probably just needed watering mid-week when I was gone. Does it look recoverable? Anyone have any idea what I could do to save it, aside from just going back to watering it consistently?

First time raising a Strelitzia Nicolai, my dream plant. Keen to set it up for success, but these observations are making me nervous. - 3 huge plants in one pot - roots poking through drainage holes - leaves curling upwards - not the brightest spot in the house, so have it under a grow light It’s a brand new arrival - how long to wait before I do the inevitable and split the three plants up into their own pots? All advice warmly received

When I received it, it was healthy and happy! Then, me being ADHD I accidentally hid it from myself behind some books as I was moving furniture. But hey! Zella is bouncing back! Even has a new leaf coming in. I will continue to ask for forgiveness.

My mini is not doing so great 😔. I repotted her 2 weeks ago. Her blooms are holding strong and she has a new spike growing too. But her leaves seem leathery. I just watered her last night and leaves don’t seem improved. Thoughts?

At this point, I just don’t think I can raise a nerve plant. This plant used to be so bushy. It started getting leggy. So I pruned it. Now it’s leggy steel and I’m trying to get it back. Bushy. I have now placed it inside my shower so it can get better humidity daily when I shower. Somebody please help me .

Hi, does anyone know of a way to treat thrips? My friend went on holiday and gave me her plants to look after but I’ve had to isolate them in a separate room as one had a really bad case of thrips and the other two are catching up. I really don’t want to have to throw them away, especially since I managed to revive them

Hello! My poor Annabelle hydrangea was whiplashed during yesterday’s wind! It was looking great right before, but now appears weak and wilted. 😔 Is there anything I can do to help bring it back? It lives in a pot and receives morning and early afternoon sun. It was planted about a month ago. We have other annabelle hydrangeas in the ground that are a year older and they’re all okay, so I wonder if this has anything to do with it being a younger plant, or that it’s in a pot versus the ground. Any advice would be awesome! Thank you!!

Can someone pls help me? This little nerve plant is wilting gradually, and can't seem to understand why. He's been repotted, given plant food, recently had the positioning of sunlight changed, watered regularly and little chance of being overwatered. His soil was staying wet for longer than usual, wondering if there is a chance of root rot. Anyone have suggestions on how to revive him? :(

Can anyone share with me your favorite grow lights or ones that work really well? It would be preferable if they were on the cheaper side of things. I really want my planties to be able to grow well and my house doesn’t have a lot of good windows. Any tips would be appreciated!! Also, do you need to adjust the lights for different light recommendations for the plants? How do you know how bright it should be?

What should I do? I just bought this lavender plant yesterday and it’s already dying. I had it outside on my balcony because i get 6hrs of morning sun but I think the wind was to harsh and ruined the plant. The pictures are just a day apart :(

Is this normal? My mom’s friend said some of the leaves have been turning yellow and falling off. I think this is normal, but I wanted to check before I told her something.

I left out of town for a week and I have not watered her. A couple of her leaves are dead, but her soil is still really wet. What is wrong with her?

!!HELP!! my flaming katy i got for valentine’s day bloomed then it all seemed to start dying but after repotting and better soil it then bloomed again but a lot less flowering and a lot of leaves have no buds at all anymore. it still has some dead looking parts as well. is there something wrong with it like i don’t know what to do. or maybe it looks perfectly normal to a plant expert unlike myself.

There are the tiniest little white bugs on my arrowhead! I don’t know how they got there I checked my surrounding plants and found no others. I have since taken my plant away from the others and sprayed it down in the sink. She’s now in quarantine, what do I do?
