Anyone who's tried growing begonia from seed? I'm interested in trying but I wonder what the success rate is 🤔

June 2024 ➡️ today 🤩
Can begonias be watered with mosquito bits?
Loving how dark and shiny this leaf is. 😍
Is it just me or are cane begonias kinda temperamental?? when it got cold where I am my pink mink wasted no time in dying, and no matter how I tried to cater to her, she wasn’t having ANY of it. My don miller came back, but the pink mink is still throwing a fit. I’m so tired of her I might let her go and move on. 😭 Top picture is don miller today Bottom left is pink mink today Bottom right is the two of them when I first got those cuttings, don miller was sharing a cup with a syngonium bc I wanted it to get some of the root growth hormones.
She’s just starting to bloom!
Are these blooms? She’s my first begonia so excuse my ignorance! She’s started these two tiny pink “pods” and wonder if these are blooms in the making? So excited!
My begonia leaf prop, I can't wait for her to get bigger.
Begonia Moonlight in bloom 😊 My first flower! Purchased from Botanicaz back in January 😊
Help me ID this? I think it’s black magic begonia but I’m not sure.
I finally got one but the leaves seem like they only look like half a leaf 😩🥴or Is this how they're supposed to look
My favorite plant of all time!! My gorgeous silver begonia Riona <3 the plant that made me fall in love with begonias because she’s so beautiful and I love how all begonias are so unique and different!! Her leaves glitter in the sun too, such a stunning plant <3
Begonia are so unbelievably diverse
My first begonia!! And she has a new leaf!
I recently started getting into begonia after buying a couple of black velvet begonia from Home Depot. I grabbed a few more types of begonia from a plant show and local nurseries and have since turned an old curiosity cabinet into my begonia cabinet. I have a couple more spaces to fill as I find plants I love, but I figured I'd share what I have so far.
Flaunting my beautiful baby Ume 🥰 I’m so proud of her! 🥹 You can click on her plant tag below to see some better photos of her leaves & how she’s changed over time!* It’s so hard to show her true glory on camera! *She’s the sassiest plant I’ve ever had but I love her diva personality 💅🏻 She had a drooping problem in the past due to being moved from the plant shop to her new home. She was throwing a lil fit for a while but she warmed up with time 😌
I recently got this begonia ferox, and I’ve noticed it’s leaf buds have been drying up before they’ve even grown a stem. I chalked it up to stress after being moved, but it hasn’t stopped and I’m thinking it might be a humidity problem. Is this correct or does anyone have other ideas? None of its big leaves have crisped up but it’s gotten a little leggy even though it’s right under a grow light. Something about it looks wrong and I want to stop it before it gets worse. Thanks for any tips!
New to the plant world! Received this from a friend as a cutting. It rooted well in a plastic bag with water, soaked paper towel. I planted it and now this is what I have! I presume I need to cut it back, but could someone tell me Where to cut or if that is what I need to. Thanks for any help 😊
Well Steve's Leaves new Wed Palmstreet Live really got me. I had to tussle for a few of these 😆 🤣
