I just got a Looking Glass Begonia and I have not been able to find a lot of information about care tips! Do y’all have any tips for me? I have it by a northwest facing window with a lot of bright indirect sun. But no direct sun.

She likes to be watered every day😩... Or her leaves get dry I think it's time to repot I have a small pot inside this big pot but I'm thinking it's probably time? I was worried about it going into shock a few months ago but she's just growing SOOO fast, she went from a chopstick to a trellis in a couple weeks,, it's affecting the bottom leaves

Hey all! Newbie to Planta here! 👋🏼 Love my two Rex begonias. ❤️ I believe their varieties are “Salsa” and “Fedor,” but I’m still learning (aka scouring Google for pictures of plants that look like mine), so I may be entirely wrong. 😂

I received a very large Begonia Linda Dawn in the mail 3 weeks ago & have zero experience with begonias. She was repotted in a similarly sized 10 inch planter with drainage, watered weekly, and has a grow light. Unfortunately her leaves were browning and crispy, so over the last week I’ve started running a humidifier for at least three hours a day and it doesn’t seem to be helping the issue because she drops a leaf almost every day. There are new leaves growing but I’m afraid those will die off as well. Any suggestions on what I can do to stop the browning and leaves dropping? Most things I’ve read said it’s probably under-watering so, I’m adding a self watering system (Cowbell Plant) this week.

Hello everyone! I got this plant earlier this month, and I'm worried about it's foliage. I had it in a semi-shady spot in a south facing window--which, I realize, is not an ideal window position for a tropical plant--and the stem (which is hopefully visible in the first picture) appeared to stretch as if it were reaching for more light. I have since moved it to an East facing window, in bright light, but I seemed to have scorched the leaves. Am I misdiagnosing the issue here? Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I’m so excited! My begonia Rex is popping out a ton of new leaves for the first time since I purchased it a month and a half ago 🥳😍 I guess the occasional neglect is working in her favor🤣

Can anyone confirm if this is a Silver Dollar Rex Begonia? She is quite shiny (it’s hard to capture in pictures) and has grown tremendously in two weeks. I’m also looking for name suggestions… I like names that poke at the species name. Tyia 😊
