Zone 10a and 9b, Tempe AZ. 5 gallon container. Ambrosia cantaloupe. My question is, are there 7 plants in this container or do cantaloupe grow multiple shoots from one seed? I'm new to gardening and can't find any info on how the plant grows, it's growth pattern. If it is multiple plants, should I remove all but one? Would this container be enough to support them all? I plan on growing it vertically, on a stake, but I'm not sure if this is one plant or multiple.

Little bit of a sad post, I was wondering if I could plant something for my recently dead cat? I heard of planting a tree on the grave before but I didn’t know if that would hurt him but I wanted to give him something beautiful if that makes sense? I wanted it to match him as best as I could. A tree, rose bush, flowers, etc. thoughts? This is him.

Hello, my red apple tree's trunk is red. I never had a red trunk before. It's even on the branches. My apple tree is waking up from it's winter slumber, this is his 3rd year in the ground and I just want an opinion to see if anyone has deal with this before

My small to medium aloe Vera plant is turning brown and withering. Imight have overwatered it and put it in a pot with no filtration, as well as too much sun. Many things wrong I know. Is there hope for my plant I named Larry, asking for reassurance that there’s anything I can do to relive my plant.

Hey All, do my tomato plants look like they’ll survive (the ones in the foreground)? They sprouted from seeds in about 6 days then within 2 weeks they look like this photo. Then once I got the grow light (the “bar” at the top of the photo is the light) for them that’s shown in this photo they don’t look like they have progressed any further. I can only hope most of the growth is under the soil. As of today I started them as seeds 5 weeks and 1 day ago.

I would like to spend this summer pottering in my garden and getting to know it ready for redesigning and overhauling it next year. Other than weeding what can I do on my garden, I'm hesitant to buy plants this year as I've yet to decide what plants I want to get. I have spent the last week tidying up the patio and garden steps, I have also deadheaded plants, weeded and mulched the flowerbeds. Other than sowing some poppy seeds that I self harvested Ive run out of ideas 🙈😅

We seem to have some special guests appearing in our garden area. We were planning on moving this to a different spot in the yard but it seems we have one more year of flowers under my bedroom windowsill. Not sure what the first pair of pictures is but the second pair is left over irises that my mother in law thought she pulled all of last year. Any guesses on the other plant?
