My first time with growing Dahlias from bulbs. It’s been very rewarding and I’m harvesting bouquets every week now! The cultivars are: Sam Hopkins Twynings after eight Diana’s memory Any other growing Dahlias this year? 😊

I’ve tried (late) a few different things to get these critters away from my pumpkins. Does anyone have any tricks?

God my gardens make me feel alive every time I walk them. Just beauty 100%. Pollinators everywhere. Bunnies burrowed in the potatoes. Birds perched on my giant sunflowers and the massive pumpkins growing. Great summer!

I have 2 empty garden boxes. I live in an area where it gets up to around 100° or so in the summer, and can get as cold as 30° give or take in the winter. Also we are in drought sometimes and in the winter can get a bit of frost. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to try some vegetables in these boxes and if so, which ones. Also, any tips on planting and caring for said vegetables would be awesome.

I found a firefly while watering my plants this morning. I am happy that it found my little balcony garden to be a safe place to rest and find a mate!

So we had a horrible storm last night and it did this to one of my tomato plants. Is there anything I can do to make sure it doesn’t die?

Was a bit nervous as the corn was a tad behind other corn and the fact I planted 200 in 15x5 area. No biggie! Foliar feed gave the plants the extra boost they needed to start making ears! I’m a bit in shock….what will I do with 400 ears?
