I may have a problem with all the prayer plants! I think I have 17 cause two arenât pictured here. I just love them cause they are so pretty. Have had some rough times with a couple and a couple are rehab plants from being nearly killed before I got them, but they seem to be fine (for now).
Just got this plant a few months ago!
Looks great, right?

Hi everyone. Iâm still a fairly new plant mom. Why is this girl struggling so much? I think I was overwatering her and she wasnât getting enough light. Iâm giving her some more light (indirect) and less water. What else can I do?

Help identify this plant? Planta says itâs emerald gem and another app said itâs philodendron birkin.

My new Chicago apartment has a south facing sunroom so it gets drenched in bright direct light. Can anyone recommend foliage plants that actually thrive in this environment? Iâm new to plants and every foliage plant only likes indirect bright light. I donât want more than a couple succulents out there. Right now I have a string of pearls, English ivy, and a nasturtium. I donât think I can leave the nasturtium out there - I thought it might cope if I heavily monitored the soil dampness but the leaves arenât looking thrilled with the situation.
I was also hoping to have a few variegated-leaf plants but it seems colorful leaves arenât big fans of direct light either. I know a pothos will probably have the determination to live in the light but Iâd love more suggestions.
I really want to fill this room with thriving plants!

One of my first few plants, would you guys say it looks healthy? It came dusty so I cleaned the leaves off with a clean rag and dry water, misted it and watered it yesterday. It has small brown/yellow spots on some leaves and one of the leaves is starting to curl into itâs self. Looking forward to learning more đȘŽ

Hi lovely planties đ Iâm a beginner at taking care of plants and probably started off too hard with this blue star fern. A couple weeks ago I didnât think it was getting enough indirect sunlight, so I put it outside in the shade hoping it would help (the start of my mistake, I know now). Lo and behold I completely forgot it outside and the sun ended up being positioned on it for a good part of the whole day and now the leaves are becoming burnt, brown and crispy.
Can anyone offer advice on if itâs possible to fix it, and if so how I can go about doing it? I didnât want to go straight into cutting off dying leaves before asking people who might have a knowledgeable answer. Thank you in advance!!

Look at this fun plant: weeping p**** willow (it wonât let me post the full name). When I first got it, almost immediately it started dropping the flowers and I was frustrated and then the green leaves started showing up. Does anybody have one of these? Iâm wondering if the stems turn red in the fall. I read theyâre deciduous and Iâve never had one before, so Iâm wondering how itâll do inside. Do the leaves fall off even if it doesnât get cold? Do the stems turn red and stay? Iâve got some time to figure it out but Iâm curious!

I was recently gifted this plant, the only issue is the foliage seems to match so many that I canât quite figure out what it is. Does anyone have an idea of what this most likely is? Any definitive features to look for?
