Hi! Iâm fairly new to alocasiaâs and I was wondering if that lightened green edges around the plant (it is the newest leaf that came out about 3-4 weeks ago) is an issue? Iâve already checked it and there donât seem to be any pest issues but not sure if this is normal or might be an issue? Thanks!

I got this silver dragon alocasia (I think) on sale today because itâs not doing so great. It does have one new leaf though so I have hope. Do you think re-potting, cutting off the dying leaves and some neem oil to the healthy ones could help save it or will that be too much of a shock to the plant?

Recently got two new Alocasiaâs: An Alocasia wentii and Alocasia zebrina. Any advice on how to best care for these babies would be greatly appreciated. The Alocasia zebrina lives in my bathroom with a grow light and the Alocasia wentii is by my window.

What am I doing wrong with this Alocasia Polly? I checked the roots everything looks fine doesnât need a repot. The soil is moist not soggy itâs under a grow light I have on my plant stand.

Final colocasia arrivals.. that makes 4. Black coral and redemption varietals. Let's see how they survive the next few weeks. It's summer here, there will only be so much that I can control the humidity with fans and windows etc but I can at least protect them from direct light and provide excellent substrate and water lol.

My Alocasia keeps having leaves turn yellowish green/ brown. I have been removing the leaves when this happens. Any advice on how to keep them green and more healthy? It has a new leaf coming in thoughâŠitâs by a window too. Soil is same as it was from local store and never repotted.

Apparently my larger alocasia has plenty of corms in the pot. One has sprouted and thrown up a tiny baby leaf!

I had a rhizome fall out of the pot on a new plant my aunt got me. The house sitter unfortunately put it into water and the bottom was a bit brown and soggy. I wiped off dead material and dried it off but am not sure what to do from here. Should I let it dry and form a callous, or should I repot immediately?

Hi all! Iâm new to alocasias these little brown spots were not there a few days ago .. I repotted and itâs now under a grow light but what could the spots be? They look almost sticky ?
