I separated these beautiful babies from my pink princess during a recent repot. āNewā free plants are the best!
I have this Philodendron Brasil I got about a year ago and itās been doing well for awhile, (Iāll admit it got off to a rough start) but recently itās began dropping its older leaves, Iām not too worried because it still has plenty of new growth but does anyone know what the problem could be?
Hi there! Iām wondering if I can get help in confirming or just identifying these two babies. I went a little plant buy happy and bought these starters off of Etsy before doing 100% due diligence in researching the farm. After some searching after ordering it seems some people have had some problems with it being the correct plant purchased, and Iām too new to be able to tell myself, so I was hoping some of you experts could help š The starter on the left is supposed to be a white princess starter, and the left is supposed to be a black cherry pink princess starter. Do they look like theyāre supposed to? Can I even tell at this point? lol š any feedback is appreciated! Thanks!
Hi there! I have a previously healthy birkin that has been curling itās leaves recently / new leaves coming in have been yellow and shriveled. Have been trying to mist to increase humidity, but any idea what might be going on here and what I can do to help the leaves unfurl?
Can someone tell me whatās going on with my pink princess thatās isnāt pink at all..whatās with all the spots on the leaves??
Hi! About a month ago i brought a prince of orange back to my dorm, and shortly after got a black cardinal. they look great, but i havenāt been seeing any new growth. the part in the middle seems to be growing taller, but no new leaves are being put out. is this normal or can i do something to help produce leaves faster? theyāre both get decent sunlight and i water when itās almost dry. i just want to see new leaves š„²
Stumbled upon my wishlist plant today!! Only $15 š
Help, I know my new baby is a philodendron but I donāt know which oneā¦please help me thank you I love you
Hi! So Iām confused as to why my philodendron birkin is leaning so much. I mist regularly and have a grow light on (although due to getting home late Iāve had it on less) what am I doing wrong??
Hello everyone! I have a pink princess I need some help with. I got her back in November from Loweās and after it got acclimated to my apartment I put her on a moss pole and she was THRIVING and giving me pretty big leaves. Over the last week she was trying to push out a new leave and it looked rotted. Over night it started unfurling and it is so tiny compared to the recent ones and the end of the leaf is super crispy. I have it next to a humidifier and it probably gets around 6-7 hours of light from my growth light. Any suggestions? The 1st picture is from two weeks ago, the second picture is the newest leaf.
This section of new growth on my Brasil is *chefās kiss* ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Iām new here and so is this beautiful split leaf!
Hello Iām (fairly) new to taking care of philodendrons and Iām looking to get one in the near future. I have is a silver sword which has been a sweetheart to me but very dramatic. And I hear a lot that philos are pretty hard and dramatic so I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions or favorite philos to share that will get me looking forward to getting more in the future (Edit: I technically have 3 philos but two are propagations so I donāt count them yet)
Hi all š± Iām nervous to ruin a good thing going on for my philodendron birkin. Should I repot it? Do I separate the two growths? I bought this plant as is around September ā23.
New Philodendron mum here (well heās a few months in my care, mid Octoberā23) and I think my āPheelā is perfectly happy. The question is do I help the new leaves to break free or do I let them escape on their own?
I am rescuing this Pink Princess from root rot, I decided the only way to save her is to cut and propagate, I made sure there are two nodes in the water, the plant gets plenty of light, and sheās already putting out a new leaf! Any tips? Much appreciated <3

Thanks to those who helped me!!! I obviously re-potted which was needed, I LOVED seeing all those roots, how big can this grow?? Also, should I trim the dead ends or just leave them?
Excited to see the new leaf unfurl but what would cause the brown spots? Have only had for about a month and itās still in the nursery soil. I donāt think Iām overwatering and the peat based soil stays moist quite a while. I plan to change it to a chunkier mix soon.
