Some new philodendron gloriosum and philodendron glorious
does anyone know what kind of philodendron this is? I got her at the Lowe’s clearance isle!
I’ve got two Philos, lemon lime & squamiferum. They look healthy and keep showing new growth. What’s throwing me off is the leaves dropping straight down. Is this due to a watering issue? Any advice? I don’t have anything other than terracotta as of now.
Are the stems on my lemon lime philodendron supposed to be pink how do I get it more lemon lime 🪴🩷
Just got a white princess, pink princess, moonlight, and ring of fire philedendrons from a closing sale at a local plant shop. Never had them before so whats the best way to care for them? Right now they are doing great. Very vibrant and putting out new leaves but what soil should I repot then into and since they are a vining plant do they need to grow up a pole or can they just hang over the sides of the pot?
I think i waited too long to put her on a pole and I've never used one before. Did I do it right?
Hiii☺️ So a few weeks ago I got my first Pink Princess, madly in love with her, yada yada. My bulldozer of a dog knocked it over not long after I got it, broke a leaf. What do I do, or what can I do to help her recover? Plz help, thanks💘
Got some philodendrons. The PPP came kinda in trouble so she's a little rough for wear, but I was curious if y'all think my new babies look healthy??? I'm a little worried about the new leaves on all three. PPP, White Knight, and what I think is a Painted Lady. What do you guys think?? I had to repot with regular soil because the PPP had gnats when I got her and that's all I had on hand atm. I think they're a little shocked, but I'm not sure if the new leaves are supposed to look like that?? I always worry when I get new plants. Please, let me know your thoughts!!
What kind of philodendron plant is this? I've been searching for days. Also any idea what the little holes are from on the leaves?
Hi all I have a dragons tail that is Farley new to the home about a month and I just found a small mushroom in the soil is this a bad thing and what should I do ?
Can anyone tell me what this reddish brown coloring is on my moonlight Philo? It is on the stem of the newest leaf, and there is a very small amount on the leaf that came in prior to the newest one. I have used Google imaging to try to get an answer, but I’m not having much luck. Thank you in advance.!
My white princess was too bushy so I separated her
Has anybody ever used this fertilizer for their pink princess philodendron?
I’ve had this plant for several years and it was doing so well then suddenly in January it started dropping a lot of leaves all at once. I’ve since trimmed off the dead ones, but I’ve noticed a few more starting to turn. It also has had at least four or five new leaves that have yet to unfurl for a while now. I thought maybe it was killing off some of the old leaves so that the new ones could open but they’re just not opening. I repotted it last year and it’s been doing well since then until now. The only things that changed lately was the amount of light due to our Christmas tree being in the window from mid November through mid January and we got an RO unit installed the end of November as well, but my other plants haven’t seemed to have a problem with the water. The RO unit even has a cartridge that puts calcium and magnesium back into the water. I’m still fertilizing & watering as usual per Planta’s schedule (I did try to extend the time between waterings a little when it started doing badly thinking that maybe due to the lower light over winter I might be overwatering it.) I also don’t understand why some of the leaves are twisting away from the light of the window. I’m at a loss right now and this was one of my favorite plants so any help or advice is much appreciated!
Hi yes I would like to take a moment to show off my monstera Sully has gotten absolutely massive since I moved here a little over a year ago. I don’t have the old pictures, but here’s the newest one, and the three newest leaves! I think the two that haven’t unfurled yet are going to be just as big as the one I have my hand next to. I struggled so hard with my first ever monstera and ended up giving up on it, so I’m very proud of the growth I’ve seen from this one!
I feel like I can get more out of this cutting but I’m not sure where I should cut that would make sense. Can someone maybe edit this pic with markings to show me? TIA
Alright y’all— I just got this pink princess For Free from a local plant dealer (she was super nice!) and I am Determined to keep her alive. Her name is Calliope, we think she’s pest free, and she is on the brink but she’s got potential. I’m trying out this setup to see if she likes it— location options are a bit limited since she’s sharing space with 2 curious cats and a handful of other plants. This window is S-SE facing and I just watered her (she’s been kept on the drier side over winter which may be part of her woes). What’s next in the order of operations? Does she need a pole or something for support? Fertilizer? This is my first time trying to keep a pink princess alive and I fear she’s a bit of a project to get looking like herself again, lol Thanks in advance for any suggestions! 🪴🌷🪷
Hey guys! I just got this little guy a few days ago at Walmart and I need advice on repotting it. I know I’m supposed to use a blend of soils and certain pots but I’m not sure which ones. Any help is very much appreciated! TIA!🪴🩷
