The PPP I saved from walmart is doing quite well the only issue i'm having is with variegation. She's pushing out new leaves but her growth seems to have stunted a little and the leaves r coming out with little to no pink. Any tips to increase variegation I don't want her to revert 😵💫

Little bit of sport variegation on my philodendron bicolor. Probably just a one-off, but still a nice little surprise after months of intensive care to get this poor plant to start growing again. It was a recent import when I got it in April and it went downhill quickly. When it got down to one leaf left out of the original ten, I covered the whole stem in sphagnum moss and prayed. In July roots finally started showing up and it’s been quickly growing a nice system and a couple new shoots since then! I’m mad at myself for accidentally damaging this first leaf. But overall I’m very happy it’s making a comeback 🥰
Does anybody know the name of this plant and how to take care of it
This plant the bottom leaf has a bit of orange hue on the outside and the other bottom leaf before that as well. Any ideas what can cause that? No sigh of bugs. It’s a 2-3 feet from a westfacing window.
My PPP really doesn’t like me. No matter what I do she gives me problems… droopy leaves but pushing out new ones?? Can anyone help before I kill it?? She’s in a west window (UK) as close as she can get as she didn’t like the south facing room when she’s wasn’t in the window. I don’t know what to do! I want to love her again but she’s making this hard! 😭
Hi! What kind of philodendron is this?
New pink leaf on my white princess philo! 🩷 I heard this could happen but never did I think it would happen to mine 🥰
Who knew my neon philodendron would absolutely thrive in a self watering pot🤩
update on this ceylon 🤩
My philodendron 😀😀😀
Hi guys. I’m going to try and use the self watering function.🤣Do I need to change a setting so Planta can keep tabs? I can’t seem to find where to put that info. 🤍🌎
still haven’t figured out how to get a good photo of this one, but newest leaf is working on hardening off now, and her twinny is starting to unfurl. these leaves take a while — but each one is bigger than the last 😮💨 💚 it’s finally starting to make use of the moss pole and become more of an upright girl
My most variegated leaf is unfurling on my Paraiso Verde!
I live in an extremely rural Appalachian area and have recently picked up growing tropicals as a hobby. They can be somewhat rare to find and I rely on big box stores. I usually rush to the indoor section, but a worker let me know they recently got these in stock. Not only were they massive, but they were also acclimated to full sun! It know has some shade, but my newest and biggest plant now lives on my front porch! EDIT: Realized I never actually named the plant 😅😅. This was labeled as Split-Leaf Philodendron or Philodendron Selloum.
Always love to see new growth on my mystery philo 💚
Well, after advice on my last post I skipped watering Regina George last Monday, so today was two weeks since her last drink. She still looks rather droopy and pathetic from the sides, but she’s pushing out several new pink leaves including this big one. No root rot that I’ve noticed - maybe she needs more light? *pic outdoors only because it’s watering day and I do that on the porch in the evenings*
Planta is telling me this is a blushing philo. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? The leaves look really cool but I’m afraid that maybe there is something wrong with it-maybe they aren’t supposed to look like this. I would greatly appreciate any advice with this!!
Hi I am new here and new at being a plant mom! This plant was given to my daughter as the mere stick at the bottom in March. We have managed to look after it and it has grown all of these leaves on it. I recently repotted and attached it to a ladder. Is this how it supposed to look? Is there anyway to make it out a bit or does it just grow tall like this? Thanks!
Has anyone had experience with stunted growth? This splendid rooted beautifully and even started putting out a new leaf, but has since stopped growing at all. It’s been a few weeks with no growth. This leaf is the original leaf as well from the cutting I was given. I also have a paraiso verde that has been very stubborn and won’t root. It was in coco coir but is now in water. Any tips welcome as I’m new to philos!
Hi! Can someone identify these two for me?? Thank you!
