my partner surprised me with a pink princess for our six month anniversary 😭😭😭 he even got a pink pot to go with it. you can imagine the scream that came out of me. i’ve been staring at her obsessively. i love her. if anyone w pink princess experience has any “things i wish i knew when i got my first ppp” tips, please let me know! i’m so excited!!!

I’m having a hard time propagating my newest clipping, a friend of mine gave me a beautiful clipping of her pink princess & it’s been a month nearly yet it still hasn’t started rooting. This is the first time I’ve ever had this problem so I’m unsure what to do 😔 I’ve wanted to add this beauty to my collection for YEARS! I have a white wizard, golden goddess & prince of orange that id love to add her next to all suggestions are welcome!! This is a pic from this morning

I repotted my Pink Princess back in April and ever since it seems to be going down. I’m not sure what to do with it? Do I repot it again and try to make better drainage or should I trim it down? I also feel like it might be losing it’s pink, it is 2 1/2 yrs. It’s growing some babies that seem to be doing good.

I thought it was cool the first time I caught my princess “crying”; when a few drips of water come out the tips of her leaves. She’s relatively new, and I’m still learning. What wasn’t cool was finding her overloaded with water exploding out the side of her leaves rupturing the cells I’m sure and the leaf turns to mush. Obviously I gave her too much to drink.. but I’m wondering how dry do I let her go? My hygrometer hit at a 3 when planta told me to water, it’s the highest “dry” rating you can get before it’s moist. I decided, sure sounds good.. and here we are.

Finally got my hands on a pink princess baby 🥹 this past Sunday August the 27th , but i don’t know if i like the soil, it looks very compact and the new growth looks a little yellow 😭. Should i repot now? Or wait a little? Thanks in advance 🫶🏻

hello! i’ve been researching to decide on what i’d like my next plant to be and i settled on the pink princess, but i’m a little unsure as to where i should get mine! i’ve looked at different nurseries near me, online stores, and etsy and there’s just so many different stores and such a wide price range that i’m a little baffled. does anyone have any recommendations, things to look out for, advice on maximizing your plant’s variegation, etc?? thoughts on to splurge or not to splurge?
