Hey, plant peeps! I was trying to figure out what kind of philodendron this is. I was gifted it. Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Recently got this Philodendron Gloriousum from a plant friend on facebook and although she’s GORGEOUS i’m not a huge fan of the pot she is in/the way she sits in it. It’s very bare on one side, full on the other. (It appears to maybe be 2 plants, side by side, but unsure). Would it be okay to repot her in a less wide pot and put the stems vertical? With supports? I’ve never had a philodendron before, and i’ve just come to find out this is a “special one” so I don’t wanna hurt it. Tips, tricks, repotting advice needed and welcomed! 🪴

Hi 😊 Army Veteran 🫡 & New here. I’m not sure this is the right plant(Philodendron) however I used the app to diagnose him. His name is ‘Blue’ 🩵. I just recently ordered a humidifier and the amount of sun you see is about how much sunlight he gets. There are 6 other plants nearby and I see no signs of ‘enemies’ 🙄 However, he isn’t as perky as I’d like. Does he look ok? The app says he’s sick. 🫣 Aside from the humidifier arriving soon…. Any other tips? I also mist him and the others daily and water according to the apps recommendations.

I took advice from one group member here and transported it into a smaller pot. I checked its roots and so far it looked pretty good. Looks like keeping it in a bigger pot made the poor thing take in too much water. I made sure to put it in tropical soil this time along with some LECA balls, topped it off with Epsom salt and poured some water mixed in with Superthrive (to help it thrive with its new pot) along with a seaweed/kelp fertilizer. I’m keeping it in a shady spot so can adjust to its new pot.

So what do you guys mark as your soil type when using a typical aroid mix? I’m using 1/3 potting soil, 1/3 orchid bark, 1/3 perlite. Just trying to get Planta’s watering schedule as accurate as possible and I cant decide which of their soil options to pick.

My philodendron hope leaves are kinda saggy.. I want to water it but I’m really afraid of overwatering it. Last watered April 30th (give or take). I just cut off a leaf yday that had lots of browning on the tips followed by yellowing. The saggy leaf on the right has been like that since I got in December tho

hi friends! I just did a soil refresh on my white wizard yesterday. when i pulled him out of the pot his roots were pretty tight. as of right now i just put him back in the same pot as i don’t have a bigger one at the moment, but should I start looking into a bigger pot for him? i know some plants like to be root bound a little and wanted to get some advice on this philly. i only have a lemon lime philodendron and a micans so their structures are different.

This is a “pup” that I got from the parent plant about a month ago, but it hasn’t been growing and has been drooping, and while there appears to be new growth it seems like the plant is at a hault. I don’t know if it’s because the plant is sleeping or—-according to the moisture meter, the pot is wet. Is the plant “sleeping” or does it have too much water or both.

Anyone know how to fix this? I just had to cut off some leaves that we’re looking worse for wear. Nothing seems to stop it. I tried giving the plant more light, less light; more humidity, less humidity. Any tips? Thanks

Ya’ll 😭 I love springtime. I bought this baby in February and it was staying alive, but not growing any. I wasn’t sure if it was going to do anything but looked yesterday (first and third pic) and this morning (second & fourth pic) and I’m so happy she looks to be forming another leaf 💚 any tips for philos this small? So far so good, but don’t want to risk messing up with this one somehow. TIA!

Bought this Horsehead from a coworker. The leaves came with these tears. New growth looks good, no tears in the leaves. Should I be worried? Also can I have it hang instead of climb?

Please help! This girl has had some trauma from repotting & spider mites. I just found two of these spiders nesting in these parts I just pulled off. They were sticky. I’ve been hesitant to spray more neem oil as now I see new growth finally pushing through and I don’t want to kill them. I’ve sprayed water on her several days in a row but I think she needs something stronger. These spots are new, just today. Any suggestion welcomed!
