Hello , I don’t know what is wrong with my plant, any suggestions please !!
Hi there! I have some propagations that have been growing in water for some time now. Their roots are incredibly dense and healthy! I was wondering if it would be okay to add them to an already existing potted pothos plant that I have and if anyone had any advice for doing so. Thank you so much :>)
What is this white stuff and what do I do?
Just wanted to share the giant golden pothos growing up a tree in my moms backyard! Already took a cutting for myself a couple months ago that is doing really well!
I found this bb at Walmart yesterday. It was labeled with the tag from the farm it came from as Pearl & Jade but some people & the iPhone plant ID says Njoy so I’m not sure which it is 🤷🏻♀️ But this picture doesn’t do her justice on just how sad and struggling she is. An entire layer of wet, rotting, moldy leaves just sitting on top of the soil. Mildew/residue on all of the leaves closest to the soil that were still living. Almost half of her leaves had tears, dry brown & gray spots, and some even had the wet rotted leaves still attached. Anywho, I ended up getting 19 cuttings from her just in case I can’t save her (new to plants) and got rid of all traces of moldy soil. Hence her name: M&M for Mother and Moldy 😂 After checking all roots, rinsing & repotting she is looking kind of okay but not nearly as full and beautiful as before. BUT she is healthier now (as long as I didn’t royally mess up). So let’s hope she makes it 😂 currently in the bathroom under a small grow light and mini humidifier for a few days
My golden pothos is starting to give me beautiful variegation!
Hello! New plant mom here 🥹. I got a pothos from my mom as a house warming gift but she gave it to me in water. It’s just one long stem with leaves but I want it to be bushy like everyone else’s ! 😩 I also want to repot it and put it in soil. Help me make it pretty !
Hello!! I have gorgeous golden pothos that I received for Mother’s Day of this year Had to repot her few times due to wrong soils and bugs She been on high top of bookshelf in right corner few feet away from west facing window She haven’t really grown much yet but did sprouted few leaves. One of them are black not sure what’s it meant Rest of them seems trying to thrive so I decide to move her more closer to west facing window on plant shelf stand for more indirect light Suggestion?? Much thanks ✨✨✨
I added the second section of moss pole about a month ago and she’s already ready for a third. I think I’m going to start guiding coils more densely so Esme doesn’t get to looking stringy. I’m just super happy with her growth, and trying to keep up 🤣 (Spray bottle for size reference)
*update* I propagated all of the leaves into 4 separate plants in water & just cut the stems and all of a sudden new growth popped up in the pot (see second pic) Hi all 👋 I have this pothos that only has two long stems. How do we think we can make her look better? Should I get a pole for her to climb up? Or maybe propagate it? Idk it just looks a lil weird LOL
Hey y’all, it’s me again so I had a quick question for y’all as of now Angie, my manjula photos, has been put down so that her nodes can touch the dirt and hopefully grow roots. Should I trim the leaves that are older and let the new leaves take over or leave the old leaves where they are. since I put all these down to the ground like this should I do some pruning so it starts stimulating growth again or just leave as is l for now? Thank you in advanced
Is this safe to use for the plants?
Hello all! Coming for some plant parent advice. I have this beautiful Golden Pothos I got about 2 months ago that had grown happily. I need advice though on the shape of her growth. She has two big stems growing outwards of her pot, which I want her to dangle over, but the rest of her leaves just stick straight upward? Is there any way to get her to curve over or even climb up something without hurting her? Any advice appreciated!
Hey y’all! I need your help. Is this a Manjula or Pearls & Jade?? Or Marble Queen? I can’t tell 😭 I found her at Home Depot & removed all her sad, dead leaves. I looked down under and there are a bunch of separate rooted cuttings, I’m kind of wondering if there’s a mix of several varieties… what do y’all think?
Hey y’all, so this is my Manjula Pothos , Angie. As you can see, she’s looking a little… uh for a lack of better words, anorexic I know that I can push the tall stems that are sticking all the way up closer to the ground and lay them down because they have nodes on them and I’ve already seen some of them on the lower level sprout roots. This is where my issue arises I tried doing this yesterday with one of the stems and it broke on me, luckily it was already rooted at the very bottom and it still looks OK but I don’t wanna break the other ones because they’re not rooted. Now My idea behind the set up that I have here is that because plants will always follow the light. I decided to put the grow light on the side where I want to start laying down the stems as you can see the leaves up front are already heading towards the light I know I could probably just cut it and place it into the soil and she could be fine, but I really don’t wanna do too much cutting and stress her out more than I already do coming up to her and googling and touching her.
do pothos have aerial roots? is that what these are?
Hey everyone, I’m a plant mom beginner ! I noticed my plant has those little flies around it. What is going on ? How do I get rid of them 😩
Propagated both of these babies in water for a few days and just added them to the tiniest pots since they had roots established. I can’t wait to see what they do.
What plant do I have???
