Hello fellow pothos parents, I have noticed that some of my pothos’ larger leaves are turning yellow. Due to it being winter season, my pothos receives six hours of “sunlight” from a plant light. I try to water it according to Planta’s schedule, but it appears very droopy before the next watering. My pothos will appear healthy then will begin to droop severely before the watering day scheduled by Planta. Due to this, I will water it sooner (bottom water) and it will perk right up. A few days later I will notice another yellowing leaf. Most of its leaves are healthy, but it is beginning to lose many that are on long vines quickly. Is it being underwatered, overwatered, or is it just inconsistent watering that is stressing it out? Is the light too much or not enough? Any advice and information is greatly appreciated!

Little appreciation for my baby, 1st when I got her, 2nd currently. Shes in a chunky mix, was on a sphagnum moss pole but that dried out so quick and pissed me off so moved to a coco coir pole recently.

Hi everyone! I noticed my pothos had a couple of funky looking leaves. I cut them off because I didn’t like how they looked. Does anyone know if it’s something bad or if it’s just older leaves dying off? Thanks in advance :)

Hey folks! My pothos is getting these yellow dead leafs at the root, but the ends look like they’re still healthy and growing new leafs. Is this normal, or any idea how I can help it?

This was one long stem and the root broke off so I pin wheeled him and have been attempting to get new growth. There hasn’t been much new growth and it looks like the leaves are starting to curl. Any tips?

My Everly, she had a mushy leaf and this other leaf that rotted at the base?? I took her out and everything looks ok. I cut off the spots that the leaf came from just in case. What happened??

Finally think I’m getting the hang of things! My plant was thirsty, but I had no idea why because I was following the appropriate watering schedule, but then I learned that nursery soil can get sort of compacted where the water goes around and drains straight out of the nursery pot. So I put her in a bowl of water to reset and boom! She stopped looking so sad and droopy! Still unsure if I should cut off the burnt ends on a few of those leaves or rip it all out completely . But I’m cherishing these small wins:)

Just potted today had it in water for about 5 weeks developing roots , plant come from my grandmother so it’s very important to me any advice?

Sigh of relief this group exists. I accidentally nitrogen burned my poor Pothos. A persone from another group told me to rinse the soil in the sink to help flush the nitrogen. In my brain I’m thinking but isn’t that like an anti-biotic? I’m not only getting rid of the nitrogen but other nutrients? I doubled the amount of water I’ve given him but put the whole pot in the sink and rinse? Also can some identify the EXACT TYPE of Pothos Bradley is?

How long does it normally take to root a Potho? Right now, I have a piece with two or three nodes on it in water with clay balls in it to keep it from flopping around and I heard having clay balls in it tends to strengthen the roots as they grow? Is there a better way?

Hello!! I opened my balcony door for like 5 min for some fresh air and the next day some of my pothos petals were basically black from the cold 😔 Anyone know what I should do? Just cut off the dead part or can they be salvaged? The rest of the plant seems fine

This one keeps coming up as a marble queen but I don’t feel like that’s correct? One of the first leaves was half white What do yall think

Happy little accident! While watering my hanging pothos I accidentally pulled too hard on a vine and it uprooted out of the planter. After apologizing profusely to my precious outdoor pothos who hasn’t even so much as browned a leaf while inside this winter (fingers crossed), I took that rather long vine with it’s sturdy root and repotted it into the cutest little situation! 💀🏁🌱 Happy little accident while trapped in the house during this southern snowpocalypse.

interesting behavior from one of my marble queens! she produces a half moon leaf and then a mostly white leaf and then a half moon again and is following this pattern for her next leaf! very cool :) i don’t have any other pothos that does this.
