Hoya fungii about to open. These are my favorite smelling flower so far. They make the living room smell like a flower shop. The blooms last a long time and are always full and large.
Hoya anncajanoae. Smells very sweet like honey with a slight floral overtone but you have to get your nose right in it.
Beautiful leaves but has never flowered. Any recommendations on how I can get her to flower? Thank you for your help.
I went on vacation for a week and although I gave all my Hoya a good watering the day I left, I was worried about a handful of them. I kept telling myself that they’re better off being left a little dry than overwatered. Came home yesterday to every single one of them having new leaves. Here are a couple of my favorites that prove I worried for nothing. H. Caudata gold and H. aff Lambii
Hoya curtisii waited for me to get home to bloom! Smells like fruit loops. I’m so happy. 🥹💚💚💚
I have this Hoya cutting in stratum for rooting but I have no roots and it is growing root looking things and the end. What is that?? Can someone help me ??? TIA
Have any of you purchased any Hoya from Amazon? This is a Multiflora “Shooting Star” from California Tropicals purchased from Amazon for 13.99, I really wanted to see how it would arrive and I was pleasantly surprised. Also, what are some of your favorite places to buy Hoya Online? Favorite websites and Etsy Shops? Any good Reddit Users you recommend? Happy Friday Hoya Hoarders!
First bloom of 2024! Hoya Sp. Aff. Burtoniae by Costa Farms. 💕🌸
I’m so happy when my wishlist plants find my home! Hoya Elliptica!🥰 I don’t even know it’s burgundy on the back of the leaves.
I posted this on instagram so I feel redundant posting here. In fact only a tiny fraction of my Hoyas make it to this group. This one is cool though… This is Hoya carnosa nova ghost (reverted Hoya carnosa argentea princess, selected to be nova ghost). Less light, more silver. The closer it grows to the light, the silver becomes splash. It’s a Carnosa so it’s very easy to care for.
I only have a few hoyas but my compacta is the one i’ve had the longest. It has never bloomed for me but I think these are peduncles!! Someone either tell me i’m right or crush my dreams.
The smooth shiny new leaf on Hoya Eudauensis before she gets older and wavy around the edges! 😆
I feel like it’s going to bloom anytime now and I’m about to go out of town for a few days 😫
How do you know if Hoya tendrils are still alive? All of these are newish (a couple months with me and under grow lights) and in the condition I purchased them. In the Australis Lisa there is a lower stem that was broken - will it grow a new stem? Luckily the other stem is putting out new leaves. The other two I have seen no new growth from. And I’m not sure where to look for new growth. Not sure of how the tendrils should look.
As our days get longer here in Canada, our Hoya blooms start.
Hoya AH074 bloom. Smells pleasant of roses.
Is this vine on my Hoya dead?
Krimson Queen bloom! 😁
Had to share this insane Hoya Compacta Variegata that I seen yesterday at Succulent Empire in Orlando, FL. She’s nearly 6 feet tall and is for sale for a whopping $1,800. So gorgeous!
