help!!!!! i rescued this hoya about 5 days ago but immediately had to repot it the day after without acclimation due the amount of roots coming out of the top and bottom of the pot. so i repotted it from a 6in to a 7in, nothing crazy. figured i would add a trellis since iām repotting it anyways, and iām very happy with the way it turned out, but hereās where i need your help. iāve read many things about hoyas going into ātransplant shockā after the repot. when i repotted my krimson princess, it had a couple leaves go soft and some fall, but following the day after the repot, they were back to being stiff again. my macrophylla has been soft from the day after the repot, to now, and now some of the leaves are starting to yellow(no itās not the yellow variegated leaves). how long does it normally take a hoya to come out of the transplant shock? is the pot too big for it? the stems and leaf stems are all still very hard. i cant lose this plantšš»

Hoya PNG sv 432. Smells very faintly of roses if I put my nose right up to them. Scent might be stronger tonight at dusk. Time will tell.

anyone else notice this app recommending severely under watering your hoyas? for example i have an obovata in a 4ā pot that needs to be watered every 3-5 days but planta recommends i water every 9 days! i think iād have a dead plant if i waited that long routinely. iām also having to set up custom schedules for my other hoya species as it seems to recommend watering about half as much as the plant actually needs

My new Hoya Sunrise is so unusual with dark oxblood colored sun stress markings on the leaves, if youāre familiar with the color of oxblood fountain pen ink. My phone camera is not showing the true colors. The flower scent is supposed to be honeysuckle. Iām hoping I wonāt have to wait too long to see it bloom!

Itās a rainy day where I am - but it was made better by my Hoyas. Two new ones came today ā Hoya cv Ann and Hoya nummularioides. I also trellised my krimson queen. I definitely caught the Hoya bug!!! Lol
