This is a hoya I never knew I needed since it is not common or popular. I bought this Hoya David’s Green Cup as an afterthought because I was buying other hoyas online and it was relatively cheap, under $15, from the same seller. It quickly became a favorite growing four times the initial length in about a year. It’s a Hoya Carnosa and Hoya Obovata cross. It’s has teardrop leaves. It’s an easy care plant and is still in its original 4” plastic nursery pot. It looks a bit dry in the photos and needs water.

I need help with identifying this Hoya. The app is telling me Hoya Carnosa but I want to be sure that’s correct. The leaves don’t see like a carnosa to me, but I might be over thinking. I might just have other hybrid Hoya carnosa and don’t even know what the normal one looks like. Lol.

My Hoya cv Ann has been trying to bloom for weeks…. But the buds kept dying. You can see the evidence. However - It finally gave me some blooms!!!! They smell like lemons. 🍋

I’ve got a fun little mission for all you Hoya hoarders: Share whatever Etsy shops, online sellers, or in-person plant nurseries you get your Hoyas from 😉 I’ll start: I’m fairly new to the Hoya circuit, but I bought mine from The Rhoads Garden in North Wales, PA for about $7, and Ott’s Exotic Plants in Schwenksville, PA tends to have a nice assortment of them, but if you’re looking for a fair selection of starter Hoyas for under $10, I’d check The Rhoads Garden out if you’re ever in the area. Thought this would be a fun way for anyone new or very experienced with Hoyas to find new places to find their favorite type of plants 😊

Any idea what variety this is? Came with zero tag and the nursery owner didn't know either.

This is Hoya Onychoides. It’s my hard to find wishlist hoya and very hard to find at a good price because the big red flowers are so unique. The flowers remind me of the claws in the game machines that pick up stuffed animals!😁🪴🌺🧸

I feel like my hoyas aren't growing. I've had these 2 for a few months, and nothing. I dont understand because I propagated one last december and it had like 6 leaves within a few months.

What is the best way to convert the sphagnum moss medium into my regular? Which is: orchid mix, fir bark, seedling mix, sphagnum moss, chunky perlite. Pros & cons of doing this?

My 2 year old Hoya Gracilis is out doing herself! 😍 She only put out a few peduncles last year. The peduncles are all on new growth.

Well, I went on a three week trip, and left my plants in my daughter’s bff’s care. Before I left my hoya had finished flowering but was beginning to show a few more buds, I came home to this!!

Hello Hoya hive mind! Would anyone be able to help me with an ID? My friend gave me this lighter shade Hoya and I thought it was an Australis but the stem is way firmer and thicker than my other Australis. Thoughts? The leaves are also lighter and seem grooved?

My wishlist plants have arrived. Good things come in small pots and only the small pots are within budget!😁 Hoyas are getting too popular! My haul: Hoya Panchoi Hoya Lucardenasiana 'Red' Hoya sp.UT-029 Hoya Hotlips and Hoya Minibelle

Just counted my hoyas…. 29 😬😌 All varieties living in ambient conditions and making my planty heart happy. A beautiful new pink splash cutting from my pal I’m excited about. Common but so pretty, and these are special to me as my first hoya was a pubicalyx that’s still one of my favs (linked). Don’t have any recent pics of my others but may post a few soon though not really sure why 😆 We’ve been swapping cuttings using fluval and though I don’t love it for other plant types, hoyas seem to do great and it’s a bit easier than making pon… Goodnight all! (from Vancouver, Canada)

Does someone know what kind of Hoya this is. The tag said “Hoya Sp” but I can’t narrow down which one. Thanks in advance.
