Hey guys! My strawberries are doing well after 3 weeks since planting the seeds.. just wondering if anyone knows when I should repot them into bigger pots? The small pots they’re in now are biodegradable so I can just plant those straight into the new pots, I’m just unsure on when? The instructions say to repot once the seeds have “hardened” but im not sure exactly what this means? I’m keeping them as indoor strawbs as we don’t have a garden🫣 so will be placed in a hanger or windowsill pot. Thanks in advance:)

Hello Everyone! My garlic plant is not looking so good. The other one that I grew at the same time is in a grow bag and is doing great. At first I thought it was almost time to harvest but it’s only been about 5 1/2 months (since end of Oct). What do you guys think it could be?? Thank you 💕

Help! My Okra is covered in these white eggs!! Whatever it is, is eating through leaves like no tomorrow!! I’ve been pulling off the heavily affected small leaves. I’m scared I’m gonna lose all of them before I even see my first bloom! I grew these guys from seedlings, so I really wanna see them all the way through. Any help is appreciated!!

Hi! I just got this basil plant. I used to harvest leaves right away when I bought herbs but I’m not sure about how great that was for them now. I kill plants so I’m questioning everything. Should I harvest and prune or should I wait? How will I know it’s time to do either?

Hey, first time gardener I guess, i got a plantable calendar for Christmas and this is my cayenne pepper plant, it has fungal gnats, bad. i cannot seem to get rid of them absolutely no matter how much i do, i know I shouldn’t water it but how long can I leave it with no water and what on earth can I do? It will be going outside soon and grown in the pot i don’t know if that’s right but that’s what’s happening

Hey! I am new to gardening, total beginner. I started a strawberry grow kit 2 weeks ago and they have been doing well until today.. yesterday they were growing fine (last pic), today they are drooping and leaves are a bit brown (other pics).. does anyone know what’s happened? Underwatered or overwatered maybe? I can’t think of anything else it could be..?

Learned the hard way today that compostable seedling pots will MOLD 😀 so I need some help. It’s hasn’t grown much, just barley. I quickly hopped on it and purchased some clear nursery pots on Amazon that will be here tomorrow. But will my seedlings be affected by the mold on the rims of the pots? At least will they be fine until tomorrow? I’ve never used the compostable pots before and now I know to never use them again.

My lettuce recently died and I have no idea why. It started off really happy, then it slowly got really waxy then really dry and then died. What happened? Was it watering? Or was it light? Because I have it after a foot from a south facing window.

Hi there! I have zero green thumbs and have killed many a plant, cactus and air plant in my day. But my passion to grow a small edible garden with my girls for our family is enormous. All I can recall from gardening with my Dad as a kid is watering, weeding and miracle grow. We have two raised beds in back that need some love. I can weed, but don’t know what else to do to start. I believe I should be planting seeds soon, but would love any suggestions or recommendations of how-to videos or websites to help. I know we will need new topsoil, but how much and how deep? I hope to grow any of the following: melon, bell peppers, poblano peppers, potatoes, carrots, strawberries, radishes, green onions, zucchini, cucumbers, and/or tomatoes. However, I also don’t know when to start planting or which veggies play nice together. I think we live in zone 5? It’s currently still in the 30s-60s. I am a very visual and hands-on learner, Please help.

Hey anyone know what I can do to help my strawberries actually make it to full ripeness? They keep getting moldy on me :-( We kept these growing up, but it was much sunnier at my parents house than it is here and we also had an actual plant bed whereas here I’m confined to planter boxes and pots. I’m just trying to figure out the learning curve I guess?
