I post weekly now I feel like but I’m such a new proud plant momma. My bell pepper plant has a flower. It has been a fun unexpected great journey and I’m glad I invested in Terra cotta pots. I raised it from tops or bell pepper seeds inside the actual peppers I ate.
Hi! First time growing broccolini from seed and didn’t realize I should have started them in something bigger. Should I separate & transplant them to bigger containers now or should I wait? Thank you & happy gardening 💕🙏
Basil Advice? Hi everyone, I think I may have killed my basil? I've been growing it outside (New England area) and it was thriving. Then I tried harvesting some of the basil. I watched videos online telling me to cut off some of the stalks above the node and trimmed it down some. Since then, it's been turning brown and dropping leaves. There are still a few green stalks on the plant, but they're all growing out of brown stalks. Does anyone know what I did wrong? Is there any hope for her, or is she definitely dead?
Hii!! I am growing a couple plants in some big pots outside. They all did amazing during the summer..I am worried for when it starts to get cold. What do I do??? I don’t have any room for them inside. Do I let them die? Or is there any plants I can plant in replacement for when it starts to snow?
hellooo! i got a few basil plants here, and i have a few questions. 1) should i use fertilizer (i haven’t before)? if yes, what brand? 2) should i repot? if yes, a terra cotta pots okay, or stick with plastic potting? 3) should i begin pruning? if yes, where should i begin snipping? if you have anymore suggestions, or common knowledge please let me know. thank you! :)
What is doing this to my baby cucumber plants??
Hi everyone! I have a garden in my backyard and noticed I have a consistent problem with caterpillars!! I have tried using Neem oil, soapy water, and ladybugs but I’m still having a lot of destruction on my crops. My bell peppers are being torn apart and my tomatoes and basil are barely hanging on. I prefer all-natural solutions but now I’m just interested in any help to get rid of caterpillars. I feel like I have tried everything, does anyone have any recommendations?? Thank you!!
I grew string beans this year and let the plant die. Today i was collecting all of the seeds out of the pods and i found these 2 beans that are purple and double the size! Does anybody know why they are bigger and/or purple??? All came from the same plant, the only difference is that the pid was half dead instead of fully like the others

I’ve been having these red ants on my porch and this morning I found a cluster of them on my mint. I’ve been spraying them with a mix of Castile soap, water and rubbing alcohol. It seems to kill them when I find them on my tomato plants. Any other suggestions?
HELP‼️ My bell pepper plant has recently grown exponentially and now has a broken limb! This limb has managed pepper babies on it… What should I do? Stick it directly in soil? Or is it now a lost cause??
So im new to growing food and im growing cucumbers and the leafe haves holes in them but i dont see any pets anywhere. Nor do i see larva or snails. What could this be?
I feel dumb for asking this, but does this look like over watering or under watering? For the longest time my raised bed was plenty wet from rain. Lately it’s been dryer but just was also watering it when the top inch or so was dry. Even tho my plants look like this they’re still producing fruit!!

My first time growing tomato plants and need some help! This is a good photo of them from 2 weeks ago but in the last week there has been major yellowing of the lower leaves on the plants left and center. Do I need to fertilize? Water less or more? I just picked the first tomato off of the center plant and it was delish!

I feel like I post too much lately but I’m so happy I repotted my bell pepper plant bc I feel like it got bigger within a day!!
Anyone know what kind of squash this is? I was gifted this plant and told it was an acorn squash but from the photos acorn squash look more round.
