Does anybody have any tips on strawberries in Arizona??? This is my first time doing strawberries and my plants are doing fine, I just want to keep them that way. Any tips???
My broccoli is forming. This was one of the first plants I bought a month ago when I started gardening. I’m so excited and proud.
I purchased grape vines from a local market a couple weeks ago and sat them inside until spring (zone 8). Today, I noticed the vines are budding and producing their spring time sap! Should I hold them inside another week or go ahead and plant them outside? Current daily temps in zone 8 are 60 degrees during the day and 40 degrees at night.
Growing ginger I saw a post on YouTube that said to soak store bought ginger in water with a tablespoon of peroxide. Soak for 10 minutes then drain water off and place in plastic bag and place in dark - I put it in a cupboard. Repeat process weekly. Here’s my result after 3 weeks. I’m stunned at how effective this is. Next step… pot them up.
I think I have to many Apple plants now

Hi everyone! If you haven’t already, this is your sign to buy seeds and plan out your 2025 garden! I just wanted to share my seed varieties I’ll use if you guys want some ideas or suggestions. If any of you guys used any of these tell me how it went: Tomatoes: •Early Girl Hybrid •Mountain Magic Hybrid Peppers: • Sweet Rainbow Bell Blend • Hot Salsa Blend Lettuce: •Heatwave Blend •Cimmaron Beans: •Kentucky Blue •Kentucky Wonder Cucumber: •Picklebush (these are so good) Flowers: •Marigolds (very good to have in a veggie garden) •Four O’clock Flowers Herbs: •Boxwood Basil (probably my favorite hybrid) •Lime Basil •Cilantro •Curled Parsley Microgreens: •Burpees Blend Radish: •German Giant (very good for ground cover, highly recommended!)
I started some muncher cucumbers earlier this month and they were thriving, until I left them out overnight on accident during an almost freezing period… are they dead? I have them inside now under a light but they’re still very wilted (and yes I watered them after this photo)

Quick question from a 1st winter gardener: I attempted to grow a few things in Charlotte, NC over the winter that just did not sprout - celery, lettuce, onion, chives, and carrots (although I did get beautiful carrot tops). I have not pulled up any of it yet, and planned to try again in early Spring. Should I dig up what’s grown and start over? Or should I leave it while the weather warms up and see if I get more growth from what’s already planted??
Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself, I live in MN and have an indoor garden. With how expensive produce is I decided to start a garden inside. I have a bean and pea plant on the top shelf. Herbs, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, watermelons on the second shelf, cucumbers and wild flowers on the third shelf, and on the bottom I have lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower started. It is definitely a progress and I know some of them aren’t perfect but I’m so excited about this journey and plan to continue!
