I cut off the end of a green onion and stuck it in some soil in a reused fruit cup with some drainage holes. Look at how much it’s grown from the white cutting!!

So, I bought a few plant roots and temporarily put them in plastic tubs as planters until I can get my actual raised beds together. I dropped the elderberry root when I was unpacking it and the top part broke off with the only leaves it had, will that one sprout again later since the roots were fine? Also, the guy at the store was kinda mean to me so I don't want to go back to buy another to try again. So hopefully someone here can answer and hopefully the prospects are good. 🤞

Hello again! I know I make a lot of mistakes but this one I’m very concerned about. So I planted some peppers which I have been planting for years now, and I noticed some of the seeds were sprouting! Then on some of them the roots are fuzzy? Almost like some sort of bacteria! Again this is only some of them but since my garden so far this year has not been great, i’m wondering if I should remove them or what to do. Thank you!

Hello! In the past few weeks I have been growing seeds for my garden. I planted some celery (Utah verity) a bit less than a month ago, they sprouted 6 days early and have not grown normal celery leaves. Does anyone know what is going on? I have used lighting, great soil, and a good amount of water. The onions next to it are very late and don’t seem to be germinating. Anything helps it’s my first year growing celery and onions. Thank you!

3 days is all it took for my “jelly” beans to start to sprout! It’s only 1 that’s come up (of 18) but let’s hope more will be up soon!!! I’m so excited!!! The stem on this guy is thiiiiicc!

I find out that this app “Planta” does not show correct temperature hardiness for many vegetables. My turnips survived down to 20 Fahrenheit for 3 days in Austin TX recently without cover. The app shows that Turnips survived only to 32F.

I planted this 72 cell tray on 2/21 and went on a trip 2/26( Nothing sprouted yet), then I came back 3/1 and I have some great growth! I used/bought a heat mat after my 1st(smaller) batch ended up dying off! I also couldn’t get my California Wonder 300 TMRs to grow, until now!
