I find out that this app “Planta” does not show correct temperature hardiness for many vegetables. My turnips survived down to 20 Fahrenheit for 3 days in Austin TX recently without cover. The app shows that Turnips survived only to 32F.

    I have this issue with several plants on here. Especially trees and carnivorous. I've noticed it's seems to be because it's based on a popular variety or a mean calculation. Vs cold hardy varieties

      All Brussels Sprouts are cold hardy below 20f but it said only 32f

    I've found mixed cold weather info online in my searches for my own plants. It seems like a lot of the info I find is for sustained lengths of time (like weeks or perhaps a season like winter) and that many plants can survive a few days below the temperature quoted as the "lowest" they can handle. Maybe that's the case here?
