HELP! I am new to raising succulents and cactus so I’m coming to you or for some help. 10 days ago I took these little babies from their mother and everybody was healthy and happy. In just a few days, these two little guys turned kind of a darker color and now look sort of shriveled. I watered them when they were repotted and waited to water again until they were dry but they just don’t look very good. I’ve included a picture of them when they were nestled with their mother and looking really nice. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? 😊💚🪴
I’m plant sitting, sorta. This is hiding at my house until the daughter of the new owner presents it on Sunday as a gift. Not at my house. Gorgeous, right?!?! I’m not so secretly hoping I “have” to keep it for longer. I’m really shy about Golden Barrels, so this is a nice pace lol. The name emerged from the mouth of a seven-year old. It stuck 😀
Sharing my new babies. I just repotted these beautiful Drosanthemum globosum. Hoping they will thrive in the new pots
Where I work was giving out free succulent clippings so I took some and potted them. This is Clarice and she looks just a little dehydrated She didn’t have roots when I grabbed her out of the box so I put her in soil and watered it. Any extra tips would be greatly appreciated never owned a succulent before before.
My Tom’s thumb is starting to droop and I opened it up, it was drenched, I pulled away any limp leaves, and repotted it in dry soil. Anyone have any other recommendations for what I can do to save this?
I came back from a week long vacation to find my cactus like this. Is this root rot and if so how do i fix it?
I haven’t had my succulent very long it’s already stretching and growing taller, should I put it outside to get more sunlight that is needs, would it help with stopping it getting leggy?
Hello! So for my birthday, my brother and his gf gave me this small plant assortment. It definitely doesn’t look the same from when I got it but I haven’t killed them just yet. I’m seeing about four different types of succulents, I would guess? Does anyone know the best way to take care of these kinds of plants?
My SOP!
What can I do to make her look more alive
Why is my succulent drooping like this? 🤨 I repotted the other day, haven’t watered yet. Any advice?
Need some advice for my plant. I’m not sure what plant it is, it’s some sort of succulent but it recently lost all of its “leaves” and I don’t know if it will recover. 😕
So I have a bunch of cactuses and succulents but one of my succulents has been reaching up and is super tall and skinny and I do not know why. It is under a grow light with high intensity and the grow light is on for about 8 hours a day. How do I fix it?
I want to use grow lights for some of my cacti. I have two 300W and two 600W LEDs and I’m trying to figure out how to arrange my setup. I’m hoping to get some info on general light placement and whatever else I should know.
I need help! My echevaria topsy turvey isn’t looking too good… the leaves are dying off pretty fast and they’ve spread downwards since I got it. These photos are from the day I got it and now. Can anyone help?
Made my first succulent terrarium yesterday 🥰
Three blooms at once!
Help! I got this plant about a month ago. I got it in this pot. I’ve tried to water it very little because I tend to over water my plants. I put it in the corner of my room but I don’t know if it’s getting enough sunlight. I’m not really sure what kind of plant it is. And I don’t know what’s wrong with it. Does it need water, more sunlight?
really want to try putting my cacti/succs out since it’s been getting warmer but I definitely don’t want them to burn so I put them in the shade — am I making a mistake?? Also not sure if the SOH will do fine out here bc I’m also debating on putting my SOP next to them. Any advice??
