Mikel’s Plant Posse

Just separated, and potted, Rocky & Granite today. My question is
should I give them a drink now, or wait a while still? I made sure the soil was rather dry.

Happy Memorial Day plant peps! Noticed Rigel standing a bit taller than before and wonder if it’s a good or worrisome signal. I did move to a more shaded area for a few rainy days
could that have done it?

Hello plant ppl! I have a huge aloe I've managed to keep alive- his/her name is Hugo. There are several office shoots or babies (I'm a new plant person, so forgive the unknowledgeable verbiage) around it now. Should I leave them or take them out and repot them? The picture is an older picture of Hugo.

Added my first plant to the graveyard! I know, sounds weird to be excited about it, but it almost feels like a rite of passage 😂 This was one of my 50+ leaf cutting propagations, and while it developed some roots, the mother leaf was fully black this morning. No rosette ever formed, so there was nothing to detach from the dead mother.

I have recently moved from shaded plant space to new east-facing balcony with morning sunlight. I thought this would be great for my aloe since it has always grown a little skinny in the shade. But, when I first moved it seemed to start to brown up; I have moved it back so less direct sun, but now I’m not sure how to best help it thrive. Sometimes the bottom leaves get soft at the base and come off; I thought from overwatering and not enough sun but now it seemed to not like the sun. Is it just adjusting to new environment? Any advice I would appreciate it:)

Does anyone have experience growing common purslane? (Portulaca oleracea)

Wanted to know if this is a disease or what. I bought it 3 weeks ago and it started doing this recently. I'm also not 100% sure what kind of succulent it is.

My favorites are looking amazing! They need a repotting but it’s so hard when they look happy. (Lets be honest we all have a favorite plants lol)

Any advice for this echeveria that just won’t stop growing? I’m not sure if it’s normal for it to look like this. It sits right next to a southwest-facing window, so maybe it still isn’t getting enough light? Should I try propagating or beheading it to get rid of the legginess? If so, how exactly would I do that? I’d appreciate any recommendations!💚 (The first pic is what it looked like when I got it compared to what it looks like now)

Stumped and curious
. I cannot, for the life of me, determine what this succulent actually is! Anyone have any insight? Some kind of hybrid??

Hello I was given this cactus cutting a few days ago and decided to just stick it in a pot with some dirt. How can I actually help this plant thrive? Any advice welcome thank you!

I got this about a month ago as a gift. I’m wondering if I should repot each plant separately? I feel like the panda plant is pushing the others out of the pot lol!
