Mikel’s Plant Posse
Just separated, and potted, Rocky & Granite today. My question is…should I give them a drink now, or wait a while still? I made sure the soil was rather dry.

If Granite’s outer leaves are a bit squishy, middle pair are good and firm tho…still wait for a drink?

That’s what I was waiting for, expert advice! They are both still pretty firm…so I’ll hold off for a while, thanks! (Is it true they only want water about 4 times a year? And deep soak when I do?)

Oh Mikel I’m not even sure what I’m doing when it comes to these plants. So far all are surviving. The one pot is about 3 years old I think. I water them rarely. I don’t rely on the Planta app for their watering. I just use it as a reminder to check. I’ve done research but a lot of it is conflicting. I mostly use the feel of the inner leaves. The outermost are usually being used for nutrients so will continue to soften and waste away. And I do water till it exits.
