I'm not really a Cactus person. I have no idea what's going on with this baby. The center is supposed to be red, it's now a pale pink. Is it too late to save it? It gets filtered light and I let it completely dry out between waterings. I would appreciate any insight on how to get it healthy and keep it that way. Ty.

Would anybody be able to give me any advice on propagating succulents? I’ve been trying for a while with a bunch of leaves I’ve got but all of them keep getting wrinkly or squishy and gross before any roots even appear. I’m letting them callus over before putting them on top of soil and I’m keeping the soil dry the whole time, but no luck so far.
I just got this from a thrift store I don’t know what kind it is and have never owned a succulent. What are the first things I should do?

Help! My prickly pear cactus is unwell at the bottom but thriving at the top. I was instructed to cut the rot off but it looks like it spread. Can it be saved?
Hello, for any aloe people out there, I have had this aloe plant for a few years living in an apartment with a north-facing shady balcony. I realize it wasn’t getting enough light but was able to keep this relatively healthy, albeit thinner than I would like. I now have moved to a place with an east-facing balcony (since April) and nice sunlight throughout half the day, and bright light rest of the day anticipating this to be good for my aloes, but not sure timeline what to expect. This one was browning at first so thought maybe too much, and brought it back into a corner with less sun. It seems overall healthy, and it has only been 4 months, but still the lower leaves tend to buckle near the stem and eventually deflate. What causes this? I don’t think I overwater and I keep it in a terracotta unglazed pot with good drainage. I have recently separated a pup from this, about 2 months ago I think, and the pup seems to be recovering with only the 2 bottom leaves buckled but the rest ok, but looking kind of pale. Any insight would be appreciated!
I’m still kind of new to keeping succulents. I’m noticing that a lot of my succulents are growing aerial roots from their stems. I’m not sure if they need more water or something else….

Im starting to get into cacti after a lot of my tropicals have been getting scorched by my west window. I plan on getting Cereus repandus and spiralis. I’m looking maybe for interesting Euphorbia but don’t really know. What do you guys recommend for faster growing cacti?

So let’s say you had a bunch of half alive succulents that you didn’t really know what to do with. You threw them into a large empty pot of soil and forgot about them.. Then they started growing… and growing… and they were so cute at first that you let them be but now you don’t know how to separate the Frankenstein that you created. How would yall hack this up? What would you do?
My Peruvian Apple Cactus is about to bloom its first flower! These pictures are 7 days apart. I bet it blooms tomorrow!
