Can anyone tell me what plant this is? My grandpa gave it to my mother and she wants help to take care of it but I don’t know what kind it is. Thank you! (I don’t even know if it’s a succulent)

I want to show that you’re not alone with your “Why is my cactus leaning?” concerns (see Reddit posts). There is a difference between “I need more light, and I’m going to contort to find it” and, “I’m genetically prone to lying down, here I go.” Some Mammillaria (and Echinopsis etc.) do this, and I defied my plant for many months until giving it a brace. I mean it isn’t reaching for the window as much as it is creating real estate for wool and blooms and whatever the heck is next.

My Euphorbia is starting to rot from the bottom, I suppose it could be overwatering, but I don’t know what to do to save it!

I’ve had this cactus for a couple years now and it is doing fine but just doesn’t seem to be growing much at all ? Are these generally very slow growth plants?

This is my first chance to prop a succulent, and it looks like it’s not turning out very well…😬! What am I doing wrong? I spritz it every other day, because the soil measures dry. What else should I know about propping these little guys? TIA!

I just got this Haworthiopsis limifolia, and I am new to plants, just wondering if the brown bit on the plant is a sign of a problem.

Hi! I got this arrangement about a month ago. I cannot for the life of me identify the fuzzy red friend in the center. Any ideas? Maybe a cereus of some kind? It’s not sharp and is firm/not squishy. Thanks in advance!

Hello! I just bought my first few cacti/succulents today and this is the only one I am having trouble identifying....I believe it to be an echeveria of some type but was hoping to get a more specific answer. Thank you all!

Hello! I just bought a box of succulents off of Amazon and they just came today. They’re actually really great quality and they sent a few varieties that I’ve never heard of before! Could someone help me figure out what this little guy in the second picture is? Planta is saying it’s a Ghost Plant but that’s not what it looks like. Thank you so much 🤍

I just cut off the black rotten parts as suggested. It has already started turning brown on the top (within 20 minutes). Do I just leave it like that or do I seal it with wax?

“I’m thirsty” that’s what she said. Just noticed there is a little baby popup in the second pic🐱

Bought this as a starfish. Another post elsewhere said it was too big to be a starfish, possibly bella. Thought I would ask here as well. Looking for any information, thanks.
