First time owning a cactus so I don’t know much about them, but I don’t think it should be root bound like this. Given how root bound it is, I have a pot slightly bigger but I’m thinking maybe I need to go a size bigger?

I just brought home this lithop from Lowe’s, I’m so excited! I’ve named her Lilith & I’ve ordered some Jack’s Gritty Mix from Amazon so I can repot her, she already has roots coming out of the bottom of the nursery pot. I have tried to do my research, I know these little guys can be tricky, but if anyone has any tips I’m all ears! 🌵
Where do y’all get your plants. I don’t have a lot of money right now but still want more plants.
Does this looks like sunburn maybe on my echeveria? Dr Planta said over watering but was only 13% sure, but I’m doubtful bc I only water when it’s 100% dry. I did recently move him into a sunnier spot which is why I’m thinking sun burn. Also does he look root bound? He’s been growing like WOAH since I moved him, which is the other reason I’m thinking of upping his pot size
Hello, this is my split rock succulent. I am very very new and beginner to these cute little succulent breeds. I had picked up this little guy at a market I was at and he is a little wobbly in its pot. Does this raise for concern? Any advice or tips is much appreciated!
I picked this up at Lowe’s yesterday. Melo, Fero, Thelo, Hama - I’m coming for all the barrels.
This mother plant is a ferocious baby maker! Her original 3 babies share the terracotta pot and I count 7 babies on her now! Anyone else have a baby booming mother plant?
Just picked up this cutie from Lowe’s! I’ve never seen anything like it IRL so I just HAD to snatch it up 😍
Help needed! ** not as urgent anymore, but care for echeveria tips would be highly appreciated <3 This is Pheo, he has been leggy since I got him and now it’s worse to the point he was severely leaning and threatening to just fall. I struggled to identify what he is and honestly, still am, but he looks like he is definitely either echeveria or possibly crassula? That is just my own not so researched opinion though, I’m mostly used to my aloe plant and my regular, healthy jade plants but I’m trying really hard here. I need tips on how to properly care further for this plant, possible identification, or any other advice. **editing this to add that i’m aware the legginess is due to a severe lack of sunlight, im going to try and get a grow light soon. i just need to know how on earth to move forward!
Can you bottom-water cacti and succulents? I try to water them from the top down but the leaves are too big on my succulents to get to the soil without spilling n stuff
Look at the hot pink!! 🤩🤩
This is Pip :)! Shes gotten so big since I’ve rescued her from cvs. I remember her being as big as a quarter pretty much. Ugh i love her and shes doing amazing. Just repotted her recently to a bigger and deeper pot. Also had some donkey tail petals put in there to see if i could propagate them. Hopefully it works :D i did notice some roots on some so thats good, i think haha :D Also side note: if anyone has any tips on repotting cacti easier without damaging them or my hands lol that would be amazing. I used a thick paper bag to put over them (didnt have gloves :0) and then grabbed the base but managed to poke through the paper bag TuT I kinda winged it but i guess it worked. I just dont want to break off any spikeys, even though theyd probably grow back buuut…
How can I get my bamboo plant to come back to life?
Okay…… Am I doing this right 🤷🏽♀️
opuntia that i am propagating, my family has had a whole bunch of them for the past 10 years and i want to keep my own so i broke off a piece, let it callous and i potted it up. does any one have any advice on when to water after letting it callous for 3 days, and potting it up. should i water it now or wait a couple days??
I have a “Torch Cactus”. It has bloomed and now the bloom has closed and his discolored on the ends. Is this normal? Also, any tips, tricks, or helpful ideas welcomed! I’m new to the cactus community!
Hey guys. Any ideas on why my succulent grows vertical? When I got it, it was very wide and horizontal.
Should I separate and repot them ?
Is this too much light for a Gasteria?
Hi friends! 🌵 Today was watering day for my cactus and I noticed some spots that may be concerning? I really do not know if this is unusual, but I have never noticed them before and I have had my cactus for about 10 months now. I’m wondering if it is time to repot…as you can see just a few roots coming from the bottom of the pot. If anyone knows what this is or what to do, I would greatly appreciate some advice!
