How can I get my bamboo plant to come back to life?

    Unfortunately that looks pretty much dead to me. You could examine the roots and if they’re not crispy and dead or squishy and rotten then you could try cutting it down to where the green starts and wait and see if it survives. You’ll want to determine what caused this though so to avoid it happening again. Either overwatering or underwatering.

    It could be watering issues or the pot is too small. Try growing them in water.

      Can I put it in soil?

      You can put it in well draining lightly moist soil. It does not like to be completely dry from what I recall. I had one at work many years.

    I have mine in soil and i put clay balls in the bottom to help with drainage. My bamboo is about a year old since ive done that. And they seem to be doing pretty well, i water only when the soil seems to be dryish. I never had luck growing bamboo any other way :/ sorry the photo kinda sucks…
