Okay I need some advice…. My hens and chickens seem to be thriving. But the app is giving me red flags saying they need drainage holes. My nana had them in the ground and they don’t have drainage holes there and are thriving. So do they or not? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone know what plant this is

Waspinator

Any idea what's wrong with my kalanchoe? I've had terrible luck with this species and this one still has some salvagable stems. It started dropping leaves for no apparent reason, and then this (the worst stem of 3) started dying back from the top down

My ‘Dragon Eggs’, Tylecodon schaeferianus, have these tall stem looking things that fairly tall and I don’t know what they are or what function they have. I looked online and I asked some that is known to be quite knowledgeable about plants, with no answers. I’ve had it in an unobstructed South window sill in SouthWest Florida. Could someone please give me info on them? Also, I read they go dormant in summer. Is that what I am seeing? Plant tagged for additional photos. Thanks for any help!

Just got the last variegated string of hearts, even though the other “regular version” looks healthier She is pretty bald, but i see her potential. Any advice on how to get it to thrive?

Any peanut cactus parents out there? I have a question. This is Bean. They're 5. Up until now Bean has been growing pretty steadily, but no real growth in the past year. What Bean has done is become DENSE. So my question is this: should I be "pruning" Bean? Thin out some of the dense growth of little nugs? It occurred to me that since I prune my other plants maybe I should do something like that here? Am I nuts?

Hello cactus friends. Please help. I’ve had this cactus for years but only recently repotted it. Which may have been a mistake! I used specialist cactus potting compost and follow Planta’s care plan but it looks like it’s rotting at the base. Do you think it’s dead?

Hello!! I’m new to the succulent world and I’m diving in head first. Question: What is the best insecticide to use on my succulents? I have other plants and have noticed a few gnats around one of my philodendron plant and have treated them but I want to treat my succulents as well. I’ve researched and looked at many options but it getting very confusing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and helpful !☺️

I think I need to give up on succulents :( I was actually keeping them alive for once, then Arizona summer came and melted all of them.

Just repotted my aloe last night to add red lava rock to the mix. Same pot but completely different soil. It’s looking pretty limp… should I water it or let it sit for a week like I’ve been reading?

I am trying to propogate my cactus which had babies growing of it I have taken them of and are allowing them to callus over before planting them in soil. If anyone has any ideas on how to pot in to soil the most efficent way without causing any root rot I woul be very great full.
