Excuse the low quality picture. I am not home to help my mom take care of her plants, but she sent me this asking what could be wrong. It was obviously growing great in the summer heat and she has moved it inside due to the cold but transplanted it because it grew so much. She has it placed in a full sun area and says she doesnt overwater it. Does anyone know what the yellowing of the bottom half means and how to fix it?

My Mammillaria karwinskiana flowered a two months ago and recently it started growing the long white tuffs, they feel soft and feathery in the location where the flowers are. And now this bright, hard protuberance has appeared! I have been following Planta’s advice for care. I have watered and fertilized per their schedule. What is going on?? Is this a fruit? Whar are the white puffs??

Hello everyone!! I know this post is a bit late with it almost being Christmas/ Hanukah! (Happy holidays). But, during this time of year you are very likely to see “Christmas” cacti this time of year!! But, most of these Christmas cacti are NOT Christmas cacti at all! Most are actually Thanksgiving cacti. As a ✨pro✨ at Christmas cacti it drives me nuts to see a thanksgiving cactus on display labeled as a Christmas cacti. Don’t fall victim to this!!

A while back I over-fertilized a succulent of mine. Not sure how long ago exactly, but it’s been a fair amount of time. It’s been slowly dealing with leaf yellowing and leaf drop. I water in every two weeks and make sure the soil is dry. It gets beamed by sun in the morning and has a grow light the rest of the day. What can I do for it?
Also, I used pumice as a top layer for the soil to hold him in place, However, after watering the plant, over time the pumice has become a bit red. Is that normal?

Hi, Can someone please tell me what this plant is? It’s unmarked when I bought it today. Looks like a Jade plant. Google Lens said Crassula which I think may be the same thing as a Jade but not sure.

My moon cactus is growing cray fast! And spouting several new limbs. Should I trim them? Let them keep going and add different support? What does it mean

I have this cactus they told me it was a cowboy cactus. It has done nothing in the 3ish months I have had it nor does it look like he wants to do anything.
Would love some suggestions please

I took a cutting from my friend's string of pearls plant. It's been growing very well but some of the newer leaves look a bit paler. Does that mean it's not been getting enough light?

Hello! I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but I’m going to anyway! Me and my family have been growing cacti for YEARS specifically holiday cacti. We have sold some of them here and there but we were wondering, does anyone have any ideas to start up our own small business does anyone have any suggestions? Any thing helps!
Thank you!

My local succulent nursery said to look up beaver tail and when I do nothing is resembling this. The app says it’s climbing cactus. Can someone clear up my uncertainty?

The Kalanchoe Laxiflora (Milky Widow’s Thrill) that is still alive at my house has bloomed for the first time. 😍 She has survived me and the squirrels who bit off two stems last month!

I remember having a bunch of discussions about taking discarded props from under, say, a huge table of succulents at Home Depot. So, disclaimer, no one at (HD) cared that I grabbed these nubs.
I never have much hope for propagations because there gets to a point where they stunt, and I give up. But these turned out gorgeous and even gave off another pup!

Can anyone tell me what this plant is called? It’s usually pink when it grows out its big leaves and google keeps showing me a different plant?

I just fixed this arrangement right before I had to bring it inside :)
